I bought the 40m version this to be a dedicated gym rope. It's lighter, easier to pack, and stays clean. I like the look of the rope but I love the nice dynamic soft catches it offers. I would definitely recommend this rope. One side note, not removing any stars for this but the fancy packing where you pull the rope through the hole the first use just shressed the cardboard packaging. Awesome rope! Very lite (use to 60M ropes) and very colorful. Read reviews of this rope on another site and they stated that each rope is different because of the materials that are recycled to make this rope. Rope is marked with two black lines for the half way mark. The rope feeds very smoothly in a belay device and is soft on the hands. I mainly use this for indoor lead climbing. Also comes with some nice literature as well. Would highly recommend this. ... show more

This rope just sits on the ground. It doesn't climb on its own. I took it to a rock wall and thru it on the ground but I couldn't figure out how to get the rope to climb. Very misleading name. It shouldn't be called a "climbing rope". After reading the directions I discovered its actually a "rope for climbing". As a "rope for climbing" it works great. ... show more
