I ordered tall because at 5'9", I rarely can find leggings that go to my ankle. These are nice and long. The fabric is good quality, and may be perfect for the trail, but they're heavier than my other leggings.

I agree with other reviewers, these run large. I like these a lot. I got them on sale for $29. The zipper pockets are awesome. I don't have issues with dog hair clinging to them (my very fluffy dogs have fine hair). The waist doesn't slip down on me. Just what I was looking for. I'm planning on getting another pair.

I wanted to try these leggings out as I do a lot of hiking, but I have to say I wasn't that impressed with the fit and coverage that I would expect from the Eddie Bauer brand. They were a tad bit bagging in the mid-section and didn't really look flattering. I love the color, but I can't say I would ever buy another pair or really wear the pair I have much at all.
