Well to start with let me say I've NEVER put new sheets on a bed without washing them first, so my frame of reference might be a little skewed. Anyways... After laundering my new sheets as directed I put them on the bed. King size. Wow are these tight. The fitted sheet barely covers my mattress, and even the pillow cases are tight on the pillows ? Comfort-wise I love the softness and warmth of my Eddie Bauer - King Sheet Set, but I'm honestly worried the next time I wash 'em they may not fit anymore. Had to knock one star OFF just out of fear and trepidation, and probably would not recommend :( Thank You ... show more

My room was cool when the temps were very low late Dec/Jan. I decided to try some flannel sheets. I liked the color and the shipping was fast. Why the 3 stars: First, they are comfortable and warm. Good for what I wanted. However, as others have stated, the depth of the sheet isn't as advertised. For reference, my mattress is 10 inches deep. One side of the bed has about 1/2 inch of mattress visible. The other part was that while the packaging looked like it was straight from the factory, something happened and I only received the bottom and top sheet - no pillow cases. It happens I was not sure I'd use those anyway, now I didn't have the option. When I reached out to EB, they said because I bought through Amazon, they couldn't help me? What? I reached out to Amazon and the automated response said I had to reach out to the seller. I finally got a hold of a real person and they said they couldn't really help but offered me a 20% refund. Bottom line - if you can find these on deep discount, go ahead. If I were to do again, I think I'd go for a cheaper brand. ... show more
