We needed something for couch covers that were pleasant to look at, could handle the dogs, that would clean up easily in the wash and not fall apart. These are really nice comforters for the money. They appear to be solidly made and they are nice to look at (we bought 2). They are light weight, but heavy enough to last. They are smooth to the touch and i feel like they will get softer with wear. They're a little stiff right out of the bag, but that's to be expected. I bought this quilt for our ranch cabin. So, the first one came and it had some of the threads coming apart in several places and I was really bummed because I loved the colors and the quality felt good and I had everything already bought to match this quilt in the room to match, so I would of been messed up if I had to start over. So, I sent it back and requested another one (super easy, super fast and Super glad I did!) the new one was absolutely perfect! I have had it now for about a year and have zero complaints. It still looks brand new. In fact, it really only gets better. As anyone who uses quilts knows, the more you use one the softer they become. I love this quilt. I bought these for a spare bedroom with twin beds for my grandchildren when they come to stay with me. They are light weight as stated, fairly well-made, full cut and fit well. The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating is the price. $69 is not bad but for the quality and the size (a twin), I think it's a little pricey. ... show more

I have an Eddie Bauer quilt from the early 90s that’s still awesome. I figured why not try the brand again? It’s well made, not too heavy, and not too light. It should work well all season. Add an extra blanket in the winter. Looks pretty, too!
