    • Poorly built, arrived seriously damaged
I do woodworking, so when this showed up with all three legs broken nearly completely off. Teak is a bit of a chore to glue up because of the higher amount of oil in the wood so I expected that they just didn't flush the joints with a solvent prior to gluing up. I asked Amazon to discount it and then fixed it. Turns out that the factory assembling the shelves and legs together is doing a really poor job. There were mortises in the top shelf where the legs would have normally had a tenon going into it, and there were also loose/floating tenons into the rails of the top shelf. I think the top-shelf is pre-assembled with the rails, though, making it impossible for them to attach the legs with both tenons. The result: the connection between the top grain of the legs and the bottom of the top shelf is just glue, and that's where some of the joints failed first. The loose tenon joints connecting each leg to each shelf weren't so hot either. The tenons were inconsistent and significantly undersized (even if you were accounting for movement, despite the grain orientation), relying on the glue to provide any structural rigidity. This was apparently a common enough issue that they reinforced the bottom shelf (only) with plugged pocket screws through the bottom rails into the legs. I had to use a dremel and a cutoff wheel to remove the exposed screws before I could re-attach the legs. Ultimately I got it all back together, but for the price, I wasn't very impressed with the workmanship. I would expect most of these to fail during service if they're constructed similarly. ... show more

    • Excellent quality & Adjustable feet! Worth the price!
I was hesitant to spend the extra money on this shower corner shelf and I’m so glad I did!!! It is leaps and bounds over the quality of any I looked at in the stores. It’s a great tall size which is nice for not having to bend over to get your stuff in the shower. The adjustable feet are KEY! I didn’t find many with this feature and it means you can get it to fit in your shower with absolutely no wobbling. If your shower slopes even a tiny bit towards the drain other shelves will likely wobble. This feels and looks sturdy and the wood is beautiful. I also love the concept behind how they are made and I’m happy to support this company. If you are on the fence buy it - you won’t regret it! ... show more

absolutely beautiful piece. I bought this to replace a 6 year old corner shelf. no comparison. the older one was garbage. this corner shelf is well made, sturdy, rich looking with 3 shelves offering plenty of room to hold my things. I expect it to last many years. Arrived when promised, packed well, fully assembled, in perfect condition and with instructions on how to care for the wood and prevent mold.     • Beautiful teak furniture from a user friendly company
We have purchased five EcoDecors items (2 stools and 3 corner shelves, 2 3-tier and 1 2-tier), 3 of which were purchased through Amazon. In each case, delivery has been rapid and with only one exception the quality has been excellent as received. The exception was a 3-tier corner cabinet that arrived in a box clearly damaged in shipment. We hesitated to open the box because if we were to find the furniture damaged, we knew it would be exceedingly difficult to repackage for return. We called EcoDecors directly and the phone was answered by the owner, Terri Gelman. She encouraged us to open the package and if a replacement was required, then she would have one sent. That turned out to be the case and the replacement was sent to us within 2 or 3 days. There is simply no way one could have expected a better response. Indeed, EcoDecors does provide the “personal, friendly, helpful service” it advertises. We recommend the company and its products most strongly. ... show more

    • Nice wood, but poor assembly quality
This item came fully assembled, and carefully packaged. On opening the package, the shelf unit fell apart in my hands! None of the shelfs were properly glued & some screws used were too short. After some deliberation as to if I should return or exchange it, and seeing look of disappointment from my wife - I decided to repair this shelf myself. I spent a good hour reassembling the item with wood glue & stainless-steel screws. Apart from this issue, the wood is nicely finished & cut well. It looks very nice. But the quality of the assembly leaves a lot to be desired. ... show more

So...I didn't realize how expensive this shelf was, but it was in the cart (my husband had placed it in there) & I just made the bulk purchase of all of the items in our cart not paying attention to the individual price of this shelf. But boy am I glad we bought it! It is SO worth the price. My husband had placed it in the cart in plans of using this in our shower and it is the PERFECT addition to our bathroom! It looks absolutely stunning and again, the quality is superb. It is so sturdy (adjustable legs as well for the win) & obviously well made & high quality. Absolutely nothing cheap about this. Has a high-end department store feel to it. My husband loves it so much that he wants another one to place in the corner as an out-of-the-shower shelving unit as well.     • Not sure what "sheerness" means in this context, but the cornerr shelf is well built and beautiful
I needed something to fit in a small corner by the tub, to hold bath towels. This fits perfectly, is a good height and it is beautiful. I didn't have to adjust anything, although I understand the feet aer adjustable. We'll see how well it holds up in a moist environment. I may get the sealer. Oh yes - the reason II bought this instead of the similar stand by a diifferent manufacturer at same price, is because of free returns wtih Prime. I would not have bought iit otherwise.     • High-end spa feel to this thing.
I was really surprised by how great this corner shelf is. I was a bit worried not being able to touch a piece of furniture before purchasing, you never know if it's going to feel 'cheap'. This shelf feels like it should have cost more than it does, very sturdy, smooth, well made.
