I will use this over a soft sheet and handmade quilt, and will keep it folded at the bottom of the bed during the day time, so it is perfect for me. However if you want a very soft sheet next to you, this does not have an extremely soft finish as the description says. It does look like it will last well. It is more of a homespun muslin feel, not a soft precale. It does not have a satiny sheen. Looks great with my handmade quilt. For the price it is a good deal at almost $30 less than other similar duvets. The zipper seems well sewn in, and I like that better than the buttons the one I am replacing had. If it closes with buttons the comforter is always poking out between the buttons. The zipper neatly contains the down comforter. All in all I'm very satisfied with it, and I would recommend the purchase. The pillow cases have an extra piece that closes the ends and can be used as shams. ... show more

With Prime this arrived the next day, extremely fast. The duvet is very accurate to the photos and info in the listing. It fit the king size comforter perfectly and the quality of the fabric matches exactly what I expected from the photos. It’s feels a little raw like linen or muslin texture. Makes it a great option if you’re looking for that natural linen look on a budget. Personally I find that texture to be a little rough (did not wash it yet, instructions also advised using fabric softener but I personally don’t like using that stuff) anyway that’s just my take on it and again I haven’t even washed it yet. My partner was not bothered at all by the texture and says it’s soft. I am hoping the fibers soften up after a few washes. It’s a quality duvet, feels like it’s just strong enough it won’t tear with pets on it. Some pet hair does stick to it like lint, idk if that will change if I wash it. Doubt that it will but it’s not a big deal to me. I generally like this because the color is great, it’s hard to find the right shade of navy and it’s also very saturated. Plus, it feels like a good quality fabric. Once again, reminds me of linen and will fit in perfect with all natural boho style decor. ... show more

The quality of this duvet cover is really nice. The fabric feels soft, breathable, and has that slightly textured, washed cotton feel that makes it look a little more elevated than basic bedding. It also fits well on an oversized king, which I appreciated. My only issue was the color. Similar to other light blue bedding I’ve tried, this leaned more toward a brighter/baby blue in person rather than the softer, dusty blue I was expecting from the photos. It’s still a good product overall, just not the exact tone I had in mind for my space. We have had Pottery Barn Bedding for the last 7 years. I just didn’t want to spend $300+ on a duvet again. Pottery Barn Inserts are not normal sizes I think they do it so you have to buy their duvets. We have a King insert so we ordered the Oversized King in Lilac Purple. I love the color and it’s a perfect fit! It’s a grayish purple I love the color! I washed it on cold and dried it on low heat per other reviews. I had no issues with shrinkage the zipper is in tact and has a little flap that hides it if you have it on the right side. I love the texture it’s super comfy, light weight. I had no issue with it having any bad smell at all. The best part is the value for the money is on point! I saved $229 by not getting another Potter Barn duvet, I’m going to get another one in a different color so I can swap them out every week for a different look! ... show more

Love the material does not feel cheap. It is soft but also has some what of a rough feeling but still soft enough were you are not uncomfortable. Mine unfortunately did come with a small stain somewhat appears to look as if it were an out stain. Other than that would most definitely recommend. Perfect fall color ... show more
