  • Premium Feeling Features Without the Premium Price Premium Feeling Features Without the Premium Price
The Unnecto Eco 20 is a fast and surprisingly capable, unlocked smartphone that delivers strong everyday performance for the price. Android 16 runs smoothly, and the combination of 8GB RAM plus 10GB virtual RAM keeps the phone quick when multitasking or streaming. The 2 day battery life is a standout, and the silver finish gives it a clean, modern look. The build feels durable enough for daily use, and the 108MP triple camera takes crisp photos in good lighting. With NFC, dual SIM + eSIM support, and plenty of storage, it packs in features you don’t usually see at this price point. Just note that it’s only compatible with T Mobile based carriers, but overall, it’s a solid, speedy, and well equipped budget phone. ... show more

  • Way to go Unnecto! Way to go Unnecto!
This device will not blow you away, it is a sub $200 device, so it isn't trying to compete with the more commonly known brands such as Samsung, OnePlus etc. Looking at the device itself, in a bubble, it is a really good device for everyday use! A 120hz display, fingerprint sensor, 8GB ram, a *fast enough* chipset for googling and content viewing, and more. Having reviewed a good amount of Unnecto devices by now, what I'm most proud of is that they know how to sell a device that doesn't have a removeable back! Yes, that sounds like the opposite of useful as it means you cannot access the battery compartment. I do not see Unnecto selling batteries individually, meaning the likelyhood of replacing one is not high, while it also made the previous devices feeling very cheap to the touch and sounding hollow at times. This device is still using plastic, but feels good to the touch. It is also nice to see Android 16, rather than WebOS/Android Go Edition/Android 15. Do not be confused by the camera bump on the back, the cameras are absolutely terrible, as to be expected in a budget device, and these are definitely budget. The software for them is there! Just, the camera hardware itself is lackluster. My other major negative for some would be the CPU when doing anything more than browsing and day-to-day use. I usually use the game Pokémon Go! to test if a device is, at least, able to play it. For this device, is you are to only spin stops and send gifts it's playable, but good luck catching a Pokémon or helping a group with a raid. You are going to gain a migraine trying. The operating system it is running is called Dido OS, apparently controversial for some as the trust behind the creators/company that make it isn't completely stable. With those in mind when considering if you would like to use this as your daily device, if none of those are a hinderance to your daily activities, I'd have no qualms recommending this budget fella! ... show more

  • So far... so very good! So far... so very good!
UPDATE: You should be aware that there is no screen protector and the included phone case offers little available protection for this model phone. I reached out to the manufacturer, and they said no impact resistant case or privacy screen protection exists. That surprised me. If this is a deal breaker for you, be aware. Phone protection is extremely important for me, and that's why I lowered the star rating to its current star evaluation. As a longtime fan of a competitor, I was a little hesitant about trying out an Android phone, but when I saw this one was available, I couldn’t resist giving it a shot. Turns out, I was wrong to have any doubts about Android. The platform runs smoothly, and with this phone, it’s a perfect match. The photos and video resolution are both sharp and clear, using both the front and back cameras with ease. There’s plenty of storage space for all your videos and pictures. If you're into photography or videography like me, that extra space is a huge bonus considering how much storage this phone offers. Getting connected was a breeze. I went with Mint Mobile as my carrier, (the phone description states that it is compatible with Mint Mobile, and indeed it is without a problem), and phone was up and running in no time. Calls sound crystal clear, and nobody’s complained about my audio quality—they hear me perfectly, and I hear them well too. There are tons of apps on Google Play to choose from. I genuinely recommend this phone. For what you pay, it’s an absolute steal compared to what the name-brand competitor charges for similar features. ... show more

  • This is a very capable budget phone with a lot of great features This is a very capable budget phone with a lot of great features
This is actually pretty impressive. I’ve tested and reviewed all of Unnecto’s current offerings at this point, starting with the Bolt line (1, 1U,20) and moving on to the two members of the Eco line(10,20). The Bolt line is very much a budget phone, not a bad quality one, but it's excessively stripped down to the point that only someone seeking a very, very basic phone would find it ideal. This phone, on the other hand, is a surprisingly robust smart phone and it has plenty of features that I associate with much more expensive devices. Features like NFC, the side mounted fingerprint sensor, and the face recognition ability, make it feel like a much more expensive phone. The Eco 20 appears to be Unnecto’s most expensive phone and it's absolutely the best of the bunch. This phone runs Android 16 and unlike Unnecto’s other phone models, it's a full version of Android, not the excessively stripped Android Go version. It has a fairly standard user interface but it looks really nice and it runs well. This phone is surprisingly snappy and lag free as well, something that this brand’s other phones have had serious problems with. The screen is quick and highly responsive to touch and even opening larger apps is quick. I was able to test quite a few games, from the very simple like solitaire, to much more expensive ones, and it does a really good job with this. The loading screens get longer the more RAM is being using but they are never so long that its unplayable. This is obviously not a gaming phone, but it does a nice job with most basic games and apps. The Unisoc T7250 processor is actually pretty respectable and its more than enough for most daily use if you are not a power user. The screen is a “HD+” LCD, so there is a very noticeable difference in quality between it and the OLED screens you see on mid ranger and high end phones. It looks perfectly fine for what it is. The screen has excellent brightness and clarity and the colors are vibrant. The refresh rate is 120hz as well. I only really notice the difference in quality when actually holding it next to my own OLED having phone. Its very much usable, even in bright sunlight and its well suited for anyone that does not want to pay a fortune for a new phone. I was really excited to try out the cameras on this model, the other Unnecto lines have all had terrible cameras (which is understandable, they are super budget phones) but this particular line has a fairly respectable midrange camera. The back cameras look great, not flagship quality but they are crisp and filled with options. The front camera is actually also fine. For users that use their cameras consistently or are using them for social media/serious photography, you will not be happy with this camera. The quality is not there. But for the price point of this phone, its incredible and very much usable. It will have no issues with video calls and taking basic photos. The phone itself actually looks really nice as well. It's got a fully plastic body and chassis, but it feels much more solid than most phones in this category. I actually received both available colors to test: charcoal and silver. Both look very metallic in finish and they feel smooth and nice in the hand without picking up fingerprints. The phone itself is quite large, I was surprised that it was actually larger than my iPhone 13 pro max by a little, yet it's much lighter weight. It honestly just feels really nice in the hand and it's actually quite eye catching as well. These phones actually arrive with a charging cord, a power adaptor, wired earbuds, a screen protector, and 2 cases (one orange, one dark blue). Which is really nice addition. The cases are actually surprisingly well made and well designed as well. In short, if you are looking for a fully functional smartphone at a really reasonable price, this is a really good choice. It is significantly better than most phones you find at this price point, honestly, and at no point while using it did I find myself missing my actual phone. The ESIM functionality is really nice as well, I was quite surprised to see it in a phone this inexpensive and it works well. This is a surprisingly well rounded phone and it shows with its functionality. ... show more

  • Good quality cellphone.
This is a great basic smartphone, especially for the price. It does not have the fastest processing speed compared to high end models, it still handles everyday tasks very well. I’m able to watch movies, browse the internet, take photos, and even play games without any major issues. What really stands out is the look it has a sleek, modern design that makes it appear much more expensive than it actually is. It also feels well-built and durable in hand. Overall, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly phone that still delivers solid performance for daily use, this is definitely worth considering. You can’t use this phone with AT&T or Verizon. It can be used with T-Mobile and Metro. I wanted to make note of that for anyone considering purchasing this device. ... show more

  • best camera quality of Unnecto phones thus far
I'm impressed. We have 3 other Unnecto phone styles but this is the best by far! This Unnecto 20 has amazing photo quality, especially for the price. The photo quality of our other Unnecto phones is probably my biggest complaint. But this phone style just answered it. lol! I only have good things to say about it in the week I've used it. Responsive and the battery's already installed, unlike my other Unnecto phones. Comes with 2 color options for its case and has a screen protector with its included screen wipes. It's Google-based without it being a Google Pixel phone. So, you have to either use your gmail account or create one for this phone to setup. My 2ndary complaint is not a deal-breaker and, that is, this phone is unlocked but limited to TMobile mobile service or TMobile MVNOs like Mint & Metro. Good thing it'll also work with RedPocket. I think. My RedPocket Sim card is still being mailed. FOr now, I'm using wifi to download and use android phone apps. I'm able to use phone app services like TextNow & TextFree, when connected to wifi to make calls & texts until my SIM card arrives. I'm loving its photo options & quality so far. Even clearer quality than my Samsung Galaxy s24 phone. For such a good price too! Immensely recommended. ... show more
