Utilizing Eclipse’s Thermaweave technology, this curtain features room darkening fibers woven into a soft, drapable fabric. These energy efficient curtain panels help keep your home cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. Room darkening panels are made of materials that reduce light, and considerably darken the room. Some light will show through. The darker the color panels, the better the light reducing capabilities. These curtain panels provide privacy and do not allow a view through your window.

For those reviewers complaining that these are not blackout curtains - you’re right! They’re not supposed to be blackout curtains! Nowhere does it claim they are blackout curtains! These are ROOM DARKENING curtains. Look at the second photo in the listing. It shows you that there are 4 levels of curtains - light filtering, room darkening, blackout, and 100% blackout. See the gold border around “room darkening”? It tells you what level these curtains are. So, for those of you looking for “room darkening” curtains - these are great! For less than $8 a panel they are pretty good. They do not block the light but they look good and with the blinds they do help to darken the room a little.

My blinds just werent enough.. i tried some blackout curtains from Walmart but once the sun came up light would shine through. Decided to buy this one off Amazon and i dont regret it, i can actually sleep now without being woken by the lights of cars passing by. 10/10!

Thin material did not "darken" much. They are a single piece of fabric which has an airy weave with no lining they are not thermal and they were shorter than stated. Doesn't work for my needs and Amazon has changed their return policy so now I have to pay to return them or find a staples not too far out of my way. Ugh ... show more
