Fit and finish feels very strong and durable, the latches feel great new, hopefully they last a long time. Everything else feels like it will hold up +10years. Will update later with a real test of ice retention. Only made a quick test at home by adding Ice packs and beer bottles. Kept ice cold for 12 hrs with out opening. Ice packs were still frozen solid. Should at least last 2 days with ice in my opinion, which is what I bought it for, it is small enough to bring beverages and food for 2 day trip at maximum. hope this helps. ... show more

Good for now, holds ice well, and no condensation outside. The handles lock in place when upright, but it is difficult to lower them to open the cooler lid. Not sure how well the plastic clamps will last, but perhaps the design could be a little better. The cooler itself is a bit heavy and bulky. Once filled with ice and drinks, it gets heavier. I thought there would be more room inside, but it's average. Still on the fence about this one, especially with the price point. ... show more

I don't usually leave reviews but this thing was super disappointing. I got this cooler with high hopes that it would be a major upgrade from our $40 Coleman cooler, but it's actually worse at keeping things cold. I followed all the steps to pre-chill the cooler as well as all the items that were going to be in it, even put the whole thing in the fridge for a solid 24 hours with ice in it. We loaded it up and added a bunch more ice and within 24 hours pretty much all of the ice was completely melted. This is in varying temperatures but a large chunk was in an air conditioned car and at night in the mountains where it got pretty chilly. We ended up having to drive about 3 hours round trip to the closest store that had ice, otherwise we were for sure going to loose all of our meats and other perishables. We loaded it up to the brim with ice but again, all of the ice was completely melted within 24 hours. We concluded that this cooler is actually better at absorbing the heat around it than it is the cold from within. This thing actually sucks worse than our cheapo cooler. Save your money and get a cheap one or go for the gusto with a tried and true Yeti. ... show more

Took this on a week trip to tennesee with a freshly 7lb bag of ice in there with some food for camping. THE ENTIRE WEEK THE ICE WAS LIKE NEW! Don't sleep on this if you were like me and did a bunch of research before you invest in a nice cooler that will last for years. Isolates cold well. Plus works as a nice seat and the bottle opener is clutch too. Drain plug works fine and havent had a problem with the handles or rubber anchor locks. Buy this over the igloo and any other brand unless its the $300+ YETI. Slap a sticker on the echosmile... kinda cheap ... show more

Only used it once so far. Quality seems good. Need to check inside dimensions before purchasing. The first smaller one i bought wouldn't even fit a gallon of milk in it standing up. So I had to buy one that would.
