This is a great all season boot. The sizing is a little confusing as they quote between one size and the next, I chose my usual size which turned out to be a little generous length wise. Alas, even though I have room beyond my usual toe requirements, the boot fits super well, extra room ready plays out on down hill decent. The boot was heavier than I expected, but all to the good as this is a quality all terrain, sturdy and very comfortable. I replaced the insoles with my usual authopedic choice, but to be honest the originals are more than adequate if you don't have my flat feet. I can’t speak for long term durability, but I just finished a 2 weeks trip in the Swiss alps In these. The toe box is roomy, the soles have great grip in on even wet smooth stone, plenty of cushion in the sole. Ecco making me happy for another pair.

The recommendation made by amazon on size was not valid. I did follow your size recommendation and it didn't fit, one size too big so I had to re-purchased with correct size. Dissapointed because I had to spend twice.

I owned five pairs of Ecco's before this one. These are just as comfortable as the others. The feel broken-in from the start. I really like how these cinch at the top because it makes putting on/taking off a breeze.

I have four pairs of Ecco shoes that I really like. The fit and comfort of these shoes is what attracted me to the Ecco brand. The ECCO Men's Ultra Terrain Waterproof Mid Hiking Boot however has a totally different feel and fit. I bought the same size ( 10/10.5) as always but the fit was too tight and hard on my feet. Nice roomy toebox. Fits my foot well - sometimes a 12 is to small in the toe and a 13 can be sloppy. This one is perfect. Good grip 9n tread and-good insole cushion

Was in need of waterproof boots for a trip. These were snug, but not tight, as I like them. The fit for length, however, was odd. The size ordered (it is "whole" sizes) was for 10-10.5 foot. They were a solid 11, so if I went down to 9-9.5, likely too short. Alas, had to return them because I was going to stumble and trip/kick things if too long. ... show more
