Wanted Lithium batteries mostly because I did not want yet another tool, scope, remote, or other device to suffer yet another battery leak from an alkaline battery sitting for too long. These fit the bill nicely. I bought other models and their positive terminals (the "bump" on the top of the battery) were too short, which led to sometimes incomplete contact with the device being powered. I like how the charger can charge both models of battery from this company (AA and AAA), in any combination. While I really like these, I cannot comment on their longevity, since I've only had them a few months. Time will tell. Also, in four different orders, one of the charger units was DOA. None of the batteries were, though. Overall, I'm glad I got these so that things like tools that i don't use for long periods of time won't have nasty, crudded up battery compartments when it's "go time." ... show more

    • Doesn't charge EBL AAA batteries. Updated
Truly disappointed. Charges my AA batteries fine, but does charge any of my EBL AAA batteries. This red light just keeps blinking. Seller has been helpful in finding a solution. Does care about good customer service. There increased the rating.

    • Less than 2 hour life in a small flash light. Takes much longer to charge than other rechargeables.
I have many EBL brand rechargeable batteries, they are all more or less good, but these are the first Lithium type. I have other 18650 lithium batteries and they have exceptionally long life comparatively. These however do not seem to be good. They died in under two hours of use in a regular small headlamp. Good and bright for 20 minutes, dim for maybe an hour or so more then completely off. In comparison the EBL brand NiMH rechargeable lasts for 7 or 8 hours... I will continue testing, but I was really hoping for a solid long lasting solution...this does not seem to be in. Also in my camera which takes 2 x AA these will work where the NiMH will not. BUT after 4 or 5 flashes these too are dead. ... show more

    • Best rechargeable batteries out there
I have been using rechargeable batteries for a very long time. First ones tried was Energizer, they were fair, battery life was a bit shorter than I wanted them to be so after they started wearing out after 2 years I did done some research and switched to EBL. EBL rechargeable batteries were less expensive, held a charge longer and have been able to be recharged many more times than their so called competitors. It has been 4 years and they are still going strong, if you want a brand that is the best go with EBL. ... show more

    • Value & Flexibility is Worth the Cost
For anyone who is done with carbon-zinc, ni-cad, or nickel metal hydride batteries that will eventually ruin / “kill” (corrode inside of) their tool / toy just when you finally need to use it, this EBL charger, with batteries, is the answer.. It will charge up to 8 AA or 8 AAA Lithium ion batteries either separately, in combination, or simultaneously. The instructions do say to remove the battery from the charger once the charge is complete. I have yet to test the durability (how long they will last over load) but every Li-ion battery that I’ve switched to over the last 4 years has survived vs. the “old battery killer” technology. I bought 2 chargers, one with 8 AA and a second with 8 AAA batteries, and the chargers came with 8 appropriate size / style batteries (for each type purchased), and the chargers can charge either type together, apparently simultaneously … There are separate terminals in each charging station to accommodate the differences in length and charging profile. For parents with kids and toys, these should survive their kids short lived “have to have” interests. Better yet … Remove the batteries while the toys are “resting” & you’ll have power for their next “gotta have”. You can even teach them how to take care of their toys … pre-use check (install batteries properly) & post-use shutdown (remove & properly store batteries) by taking care of their “prize toys”. They learn a lot earlier these days … I have a picture of a (maybe) 12 month old using a cell phone to play video games while her parents were able eat a leisurely dinner in a restaurant. Overall I’ll buy more chargers … Their value is well worth the cost. ... show more

These are great batteries. I've purchased a couple dozen of various sizes and I'm happy with all of them. They are especially useful in items that get used a lot and wear out expensive single-use batteries quickly. All you need is to order some extra of each size so you've always got enough charged spares to fit whatever device's batteries that may need to be recharged and you'll never have a device out of service.
