I cannot recommend this emough if you have sensitive skin. Can be used as facewash, bodywash, even shampoo! And I use it for all 3. I have really sensitive skin -- Vanicream was too drying and everything else breaks me out. Since using this, my skin is incredibly calm. No more redness, itching, or blemishes.     • Great for Sensitive Skin
This is the same product that I purchase from my dermatologist. It is actually the same price on Amazon as at the dermatologist office. I purchase it via Amazon because it saves me a trip across town. This is non-drying, oil based and great for skin that is very sensitive to sulfates and prone to contact dermatitis. I’ve actually stopped using any over-the-counter soap products, even those made for sensitive skin. This was initially given to me to use rather than soap, but I stopped using my specialty face product and began using this on my face as well. It has made a huge difference. I know it is very expensive, but a little goes a long way. I use 1/2 to 1 pump to wash my face, neck and décolleté. I use one pump on a bath puff to was the rest of my body. Since people with very sensitive skin are not supposed to bathe daily, this product will last 4 to 6 months used in this way. ... show more

    • Wonderful for my son's eczema!
I simply can't love this cream enough! It has helped my 3 year old's eczema sooo much! I have to still use his steroid cream (very minimally) maybe once a week for little spots where he flares, but overall, this cream has helped make his skin so much healthier. We have gone from a life of pediatric dermatologists, pediatric allergists, skin prick testing, several different prescription meds (Eucrisa included which is AWFUL), multiple anti histamine medications, bleach baths, wet wraps, elimination diets, constant scratching until he bleeds, crying/ screaming from discomfort, infected skin that turned into an abscess requiring 10 days of antibiotics, and trying approximately 15 (if not more) different over the counter creams, lotions, ointments, etc etc etc to now having a much happier little guy who can wear shorts again and play like a normal kid. Again, it's not a miracle lotion or an instant fix, but I know this lotion (& cutting back, not eliminating, but cutting back on dairy) has helped him tremendously. I started with applying four + times a day along with the triamcinolone 4+ times daily until I got his skin under control and from there I've been able to slowly wean down to twice daily applications with the lotion and, like I mentioned previously, only one very tiny application of the steroid once a WEEK. This lotion is quite pricey and I wish it was a bit more affordable, but I have been able to stretch a bottle to about a month and half now with twice daily use. As a mom whose heart was breaking seeing her baby boy suffer so much, it has been worth it to budget for this product❤ ... show more

    • Good for dry, sensitive skin
This hasn’t caused a reaction so I’m happy enough with just that alone. I have dry, sensitive skin and my face seems to like this. I also like how easy this is to disperse. Some pumps are just not user friendly. This is well packaged. And there’s a lot of it so this for me is overall a winner. It’s not the most exciting product to use but it gets the job done.     • Cleanser is not suitable for very dry skin, it wl strip out the skin n isn't fragrance free at all
This is a no no no product for problematic driest skin. There is a terribly bad funky scent eventhough this claims to be fragrance free. It definitely has fragrance. Its not a value for money at all, I have very dry skin n I suffer flare up during seasonal changes and allergies so I was looking for something to soothe but even this product is drying. It's too harsh for face. Look elsewhere if you have super dry or redness or flare up. Those with normal skin and those with normal kind of less dry skin can get benefit out of this as a mildly foam cleanser. It will give squeaky n clean feel without leaving any film on the skin. Watch out if you have suffer dry skin n live in below freezing climate because then this Avene Cleansing oil will strip out all the moisture barriers of the skin n make it feel like your face just have tears of dryness. Its a cleanser with fragrance that does have pleasant smell. ... show more
