This is a good neutral cleanser that works very well for combination skin. It does not strip the oils from the dryer areas (eyes, chin, etc) but manages to work well in the areas that get clogged easily (nose, T-zone, etc). There is a very gentle scent which doesn't bug me at all it's very neutral. This is a gel based cleanser that foams quickly and easily. It doesn't aggravate my acne or cause redness and balances and cleans my skin well. Overall I really like this cleanser!

It smells good. Cleanses well, suitable for problem skin. It is good to foam, at the same time to do a facial massage with this foam. Makes the skin soft, does not dry. Worth the money.

Absolutely love it. Smells is not overwhelming like acne washed used to. My face feels super soft and feels fresh, like the layers of skin isn’t being pealed off. It isn't drying of my skin. It feels like makeup was taken off but not my skin. I highly recommend!

My love affair with this cleanser continues. It truly is great for my dehydrated-oily skin, but I hate the new packaging. Since it's a thin formula, A LOT flows out. And the thing is, you don't really need much of the product per use. I wish they would bring the old bottles back!

I love this cleanser! This is one of the only cleansers that keeps my combo, hormonal cystic acne prone skin clear while managing oil production. I keep coming back to it time and again. With regular use blackheads even are diminished. It's got a pleasant scent and lathers even though it's soap free. You only need about a nickel size of product each time you use. A sample bottle lasted what seems like an eternity so the full size will last a loooong time. It can make me feel a little dry at times, but it's easily combated with a good moisturizer. I use either Embryolisse Lait Creme or Caudalie Moisturizing Sorbet depending on how dry my skin feels. I find that the minimal dryness after using is better than being an oil slick mess with breakouts and it doesn't make me flaky. I would NOT recommend this cleanser if you have dry skin normally. As it is I mostly use this cleanser when the seasons change and the weather becomes warmer and my oil production is kicked into high gear. This cleanser also removes makeup insanely well. My face is always bright, smooth, and clean after using and feels refreshed. This cleanser won't be for everyone but if you have oily acne prone skin I'd give it a try. Maybe try to find a sample bottle first, and definitely follow up with a good moisturizer that you know does not break you out. I love Avene's products and I will continue to have this cleanser on hand at all times, even in the colder months when I don't use often, it'll clear up a breakout in a few washes. This is a lovely effective cleanser and I highly recommend it!

Love this product! I have very sensitive combination skin, so finding a product that works for me is very difficult. This is such a nice light scent and very gentle yet foamy. It cleans well and does not leave any residue. If you've been struggling to find something, try this!
