I wish I could give these two companies a NEGATIVE rating. This Phone is a piece of junk. I purchased it for my husband who is an invalid and has severe memory issues. It has not worked from day received. Phone does NOT ring most of time when I am testing it, instead the calls go straight to voicemail. I do not want voicemail on this phone as my husband cannot learn to use it. I don’t believe this phone even supports voicemail. The 2-3 times it did ring, voice is loud, echos and screeches in a high pitched sound. It is completely not useable. I have been trying to get it to work, but all that happens is my extreme frustration. I purchased service from Speedtalk the SIM card included with the phone and PREPAID for a YEAR. Just further frustration from them and I CANNOT get a refund for that. They want me to perform services on the phone that this phone is not capable of. I tried what I was able to without success. THEY REFUSE to even refund the time left on the PREPAID PORTION. I give up!!! I cannot spend anymore time or stress on this phone! DO NOT BUY OR USE SPEEDTALK OR EASYFONE! I am out $144.90 for the Speedtalk and $84.79 for the Easyfone. This is $229.69. LESSON: ALWAYS AVOID when businesses partner up to sell their products. Was happy to find that I was able to actually set up the phone with my own service provider (T-MOBILE) as described. What I don't like is that when answering the phone, you are forced to answer in Speaker Phone mode, and must then push a button to turn it off during the call. I bought this phone for extreme simplicity for someone who can not read. So they would have to be able to read the prompt that states 'push here to turn off speak phone'. You should be able to answer your calls in regular mode, and then have the option to choose to use speaker phone. This is not the case. Other than that the phone seems to work pretty well. Although there have been a couple times that I've called it (with it right in my hand) and it did not ring. It went to a voicemail...and I don't think the phone has voicemail? ... show more

Worst phone ever!! don't buy it!! We were lied to on the Amazon ad that we could put it on our T-Mobile account. We bought it for our 82 year old dad it's the worst known ever to include we were lied to. We want our money back but they won't give it to us!! DON'T BUY

The idea of this is good. But there are quite a few small things that make it difficult. We first had issues with it picking up reception. Kept falling to 2G or 3G network which those networks aren't around if you use providers like TMobile. The phone itself is much smaller in your hand and can slip out of your hand easily. Especially older people with arthritic hands, etc. They should have gripper edges. The 4 buttons are easy enough but you push one and it doesn't always call. Sometimes it will ask you to call phone number A if thats what you pushed. It should just automatically call it. Just an added step not needed. The menu screen is super difficult. There is no way an elderly person can get to that. And thats where you have to activate the flashlight. So its pretty useless. This whole item needs to be rethought with actual older people trying it out and a better way to make sure it rings. You also cant adjust the level of the ringer. Only the voice level...but only the voice while they are talking. You push the up or down while not on a call it screws the phone menu items up. I would recommend looking elsewhere.
