Description

The EasyFlex Decorative Adirondack No-Dig Landscape Edging Kit adds craftsman charm to any gardening or landscaping project. The white ornamental edging is flexible enough to use as a tree ring and the patented No-Dig L-shaped design eliminates damage from digging into tree and plant roots. An overlapping post system and interlocking anchoring tabs create seamless borders, eliminating the need for connector pieces. Unlike other decorative fence-style edging products, the 4.5-inch-high edging has a built-in retaining section designed to hold back bedding materials and can be installed on top of landscape fabric to prevent weed growth. Simply clear the area of debris and align the edging to the shape of the bed. Slide edging pieces together so anchoring tabs overlap. Then use a mallet to pound the spikes (included) into the ground on each end of edging to secure. Proudly made in the USA from recycled materials, the edging kit includes (12) edging pieces and (13) 8-inch anchoring spikes.

I bought these garden edging pieces more for function than for looks, but it turned out that besides serving the intended purpose, I love how they look. I have a large azalea bush in my yard on one side of a cement path, and on the other side there's a large rose bush. The backyard critters (bunnies, squirrels, chipmunks, and birds) apparently think it's fun to run back and forth under both bushes at night. That means I wake up every morning to mulch and dirt on the path. I grew tired of constantly sweeping the area so I searched for a solution. That's how I found these. I chose this particular fence because it has a solid border at the bottom where it rests on the ground. I figured it would help to prevent debris from getting through. Not all the fences I looked at have the border. They were super easy to install. The pieces fit together seamlessly. The directions say to use a rubber mallet to knock the spikes into the ground, but we recently had a lot of rain so the earth was soft. I was able to push them in manually almost all the way and then I just gave them a few little taps with a regular hammer. They stand nice and straight and don't budge at all. I installed them yesterday and today for the first time in the 3 years that I'm living here, I woke up to a clean path. This is a wonderful item at a very reasonable price, but I still have a bunch of fence pieces left and only one remaining spike. If I ever want to use the pieces I'll have to buy more spikes. I've seen others have mentioned this, too. Why are they so stingy with the spikes? ... show more

These are super easy to put together and are a quick upgrade to any garden. They made my new flower bed look so much better. They were pretty flexible and easy to bend and it was the perfect height for my garden bed. I will say that they didn’t have as many stakes as I would’ve liked, but they have continued to hold up without any issues, despite not having enough stakes for each piece. ... show more

I didn’t love the look of it, but the price made it worth my while. I just needed something so that when people help me mow my lawn, they know where not to mow. There is enough stakes if you put one at the end of each piece. They are flexible but hold up better than I expected. They are, as advertised, pretty small. Very light weight and easy to install. I was able to do most of it with bare hands and some I pushed in with a ground stomper. I didn’t have to cut them, but they are jointed with thin plastic, so I imagine it would be very easy to trim. Our HOA landscapers just weed-whacked my corded off wildflowers. I'm so glad I found this landscaping border (and some "do not cut signs") to protect my flowers in the future. The border is very attractive and was a breeze to install (used a regular hammer). As stated, the box came with 13 stakes and was all that was needed for the installation. I did order additional stakes (just in case), which I might use to reinforce it further, but it already withstood a weed whacking as-is with no problem whatsoever. Unlike some other edging kits, this one was very easy to install....it is best to first connect all the pieces you need and place them were you intend for them to be placed, then insert the spikes at the joint where two pieces connect....the only negative I can find is that I wish the plastic was a bit more substantial .....otherwise I highly recommend this edging kit.....one recommendation: order some additional spikes that are rather inexpensive.....and don't forget to backfill a bit form the back of the edging ... show more

Pros: This is a very beautiful product and instantly made my front lawn and home look amazing. I bought a model home so wanted to keep up with the exterior look. Very easy to install. Cons: Becomes brittle in the Florida sun and breaks very easily thereafter. I replaced it twice. Not three times. I'm installing white metal edging this time around. Also, using a trimmer to cut the grass around this is tricky especially if its brittle. Lasted less than a year. ... show more

Exactly as promised. Easy install. Great quality. Vibrant white. Cute. Very helpful to keep mulch in its area as not to spread into the pathway. I bought three sets, used two plus one panel of the third set for this project. I may use the third set for the backyard or something. Too cute not to use.
