update. After several months of use it still looks great. The bottom cover for the seat gets washed quite a bit and it's holding up just fine. First off I bought Navy. I could not get my camera to get accurate color pictures. it is not this bright. It is a really pretty Navy, not a deep Navy like black, but nowhere near this bright. It is on a Nerviano recliner, which is a small recliner. I'm 5'4 and my mother is 5'3 and this recliner fits us perfectly. The recliner is not over stuffed. I was worried this cover was going to be too big. Initial installation it looks fabulous. The bulge you see in the one area of the seat cushion is because of a washable incontinence pad. I didn't take the trouble to smooth it out nice enough. It seemed pretty straightforward to put on as far as I was concerned. Open up the recliner and when you're putting the seat cover on start with the foot rest and pull it back to the back of the seat. The only thing I didn't know was where the heck those little loop straps were supposed to go. The only part we had to fiddle with was the back bottom where covering the arm sides and then the back pieces covering the bottom where the velcro flap is. It seems like, with use, those white elastic pieces will probably show. Don't know how it's going to wear over time,. Or if it will become sloppy, but new it fits beautifully and it's soft. Overall more pleased than I expected to be. Well a couple of the cats took a liking to it. It holds on to cat hair pretty good. We are using this to protect the chair from incontinence, so we have added a throw type waterproof chair cover that does not fit tight like this slip cover. Mom loves how the recliner looks with the slip cover, sadly we need another easy quick wash layer on top of it to protect it. I'm pretty good about posting updates so if it's fails to live up to quality over the coming months I will q ... show more

I have been looking everywhere for a cover for my oversized recliner - or "cuddle chair." You just can't find them. I took measurements, and there is just nothing to be found. I finally thought - well, you are going to have to think outside the box on this one, or make one yourself, and sewing is not my gift. I looked at several oversized recliners, loveseat combos, and nothing seemed right - the measurements were close, but not perfect. Finally, I saw this, and another one, and got them both. Well, the other one came, and I didn't even open it, said nope. Just doesn't feel right. This came, and I was like, I can make this work. The arms are a bit tight, but as you can see, it fits. The back piece is a bit big, but I was able to rig it with the elastic bands and hooks it comes with, and plus, you can't really tell. It came in six pieces, I used four. It covered the "fake" leather that is flaking off, and when I piled my boyfriend and two dogs into it, the pieces didn't flip back off - I call it a win. I got it in the Navy, and I love the color. It is a nice dark blue, the fabric is really soft - it is thin, and I have only had for one day in these photos, but the fur kids have jumped up, down, in and around, and did not leave scratch marks or rip it. Both arms have pockets on the side - it does not have a hole for a lever or any sort of handle, so if that bothers you, take that in account before you purchase. My chair just has a little circle handle, which can easily be used right through the fabric, and is fine by me. Again - I used this for a chair - not a loveseat. Not its intended purpose and I am in love. Fantastic!! My cuddle chair measurements are roughly - 36" high from bottom to top of back; 48-53" wide across the top back; 48-50" footrest base; armrest length 27"; seat width 34"; base width 30" - there is some difference in whether you include the sides or fluffiness of the cushions in your measurements!
