I have been looking everywhere for a cover for my oversized recliner - or "cuddle chair." You just can't find them. I took measurements, and there is just nothing to be found. I finally thought - well, you are going to have to think outside the box on this one, or make one yourself, and sewing is not my gift. I looked at several oversized recliners, loveseat combos, and nothing seemed right - the measurements were close, but not perfect. Finally, I saw this, and another one, and got them both. Well, the other one came, and I didn't even open it, said nope. Just doesn't feel right. This came, and I was like, I can make this work. The arms are a bit tight, but as you can see, it fits. The back piece is a bit big, but I was able to rig it with the elastic bands and hooks it comes with, and plus, you can't really tell. It came in six pieces, I used four. It covered the "fake" leather that is flaking off, and when I piled my boyfriend and two dogs into it, the pieces didn't flip back off - I call it a win. I got it in the Navy, and I love the color. It is a nice dark blue, the fabric is really soft - it is thin, and I have only had for one day in these photos, but the fur kids have jumped up, down, in and around, and did not leave scratch marks or rip it. Both arms have pockets on the side - it does not have a hole for a lever or any sort of handle, so if that bothers you, take that in account before you purchase. My chair just has a little circle handle, which can easily be used right through the fabric, and is fine by me. Again - I used this for a chair - not a loveseat. Not its intended purpose and I am in love. Fantastic!! My cuddle chair measurements are roughly - 36" high from bottom to top of back; 48-53" wide across the top back; 48-50" footrest base; armrest length 27"; seat width 34"; base width 30" - there is some difference in whether you include the sides or fluffiness of the cushions in your measurements! It was not done with precision, but with hope.

I love the color, white! I love the fabric, so soft! But the fit was so tricky. As my dad always says “Anything worth having is worth fighting for” I had to fight for this. We bought brand new swivel recliners that I don’t want the dogs to ruin in the first week, so we got these covers. The seat portion fit perfect. The arm rests I really had to put in an effort. Remember the 90’s when we used to wear panty hose? If you had fingernails you had to be super careful. Putting the armrest covers on gave me flashbacks to the 90’s. So glad I didn’t have to pull out any nail polish to stop a “run” As you can see in the video there is a little exposure but nothing major. As for the backrest, again…..snug as a bug! The only major hitch, well two. 1. Because we have a swivel recliner there is no way to anchor the back. In the video you can see that my husband used some knowledge from his Boy Scout days to fashion a knot to anchor. Crossing our fingers. The second chair shows it before he got naughty, I mean knotty! Leading us to the second hitch 2. In the second chair you can see that the “undercarriage” of my chair is exposed. The way our recliner is made didn’t allow for the cover to “tuck” where it was Supposed to. I rolled up the material flap so we could pull down the cover to anchor. I hope that makes sense. Over all, we are super pleased. Maybe an option for swivel chairs OR I would love it if the cover didn’t drop all the way down the backside. If it slipped over the backrest like a beanie(stocking cap) there would be no issue. Thrilled with the purchase.

The stretchy fabric makes it easy to put on, looks like it was custom made. Beautiful, soft, lovely texture. I have dogs that shed constantly, so I still throw a sheet over this to keep it clean longer. It's easy to put on, but not something that I want to do on a weekly basis. It's wonderful not to constantly adjust and pull up this cover, like the ones that you just throw over. The other kind is a constant headache, always creeping down. Not with this cover, stays in place and the texture keeps the sheet in place, too. Looks beautiful on. The fabric has enough stretch to make using the device to raise the legs easy. The separate pieces make sure that everything fits perfectly. I'm going to order another set to make sure I have one on hand. Absolutely recommend and would love to give it a thousand stars if I could.

Okay, so, I bought these to replace the two sided pet friendly covers I had because I just didn't like the "thrown on" look. Well, let me tell you, after spending probably 1.5-2 hours putting the covers on my oversized reclining loveseat, I think I might prefer to purchase new, less expensive couches every few years. While the instructions are present, they are sorely lacking smooth direction. There are tags inside identifying each piece, but how to place them is a hypothesis only you can solve through trial and error. And, trust me, I am still not sure I have anything on correctly, but I am not willing to die on this hill. The overall look when I conceded defeat is okay. Although I can see where the cover seams don't line up as they should, my body says it is just fine. If I were a member of Cirque De' Soleil, I might have found this venture mildly entertaining. These covers look good, but installation should not be performed solo and you may need to be supervised by someone who is much more limber than I. If there were clearly stated instructions I would likely give this item 4 stars. If they were much easier to place I would give it 5 stars. Good luck shoppers! (OH how sad I will be when I have to remove them for washing). All of this being said, the fit is snug, the material seems sturdy and the feel against my skin is nice.

I have a set of reclining couches (love seat and full couch) that is a tweed type fabric (13 years old) which my cats have destroyed by clawing the back. The couches sit in the open so it looks horrific with damage the cats caused, completely destroying the couches clear to the wood. I have purchased other covers and they require constant adjustment every time they are sat on. The previous covers did not cover properly on the back side of the couches and clearly "looked" like covers. I returned each of them and figured I would just give up on covers all together. That as until I found THESE covers! Each piece of the cover is a separate section. That sounds complicated yet it works PERFECT! They stretched well enough to fit over the bulk of the armrests, covered the reclining parts perfectly, and....THEY FIT CLEAR DOWN THE BACK OF THE COUCHES SNUGLY! Once in a great while I will have to adjust the inner seat corners from A LOT of sitting (My home has big boys...6 ft, 270lbs). The color I chose (which is similar to the original), Navy, looks fantastic! They actually HELP repel the white cat hair as well! These covers are worth EVERY PENNY I spent on them! I always read reviews and when I read a review highly recommending a product I always wonder what con there may be with all of the pros. Well, the con....the elastic on the inside of each piece could stand to be the same color as the covers instead of white. Why? Because the pieces that cover the arms overlap with the back covers and, as with all elastic, it curls slightly exposing the white elastic. This is such a MINOR issue though! I adjust it once but nothing is 100% yet these covers are 99.99% the greatest!

PROS: Very stretchy, I think it could fit a very wide range of furniture. Color is great and true to the picture (I got the greenish gray, I would call it sage though). Feel is super soft. I LOVE the multiple pieces so I can wash the 1 piece my cat always sleeps on more frequently. My microfiber recliner always caused me to get a static shock whenever I got up, this prevents that. The price would be a pro, if the quality were there. I would've expected to pay $20 for this. This would be perfect for a staging, like for selling real estate. Also, if you have terribly stained or pet-damaged furniture, something is better than nothing, and this is more affordable than a new couch. It would be great for a single use, like if you're hosting a holiday. IF you want long lasting alternative to buying different colored furniture while redecorating, consider spending a little more. CONS: I have owned this exactly 2 weeks, and the fabric on the seat is already terribly pilled up. I sit on the left side, 3-5 hours a day at absolute most. The material is very thin, like an extremely soft stretchy t-shirt. Unfortunately, its stretchiness causes it to look saggy. You can tuck it all nice and taught, you sit down, and it all pulls out. I expected to readjust weekly maybe, but I feel like I could've draped and tucked a huge sheet and had similar results. Given the thin stretchiness and the excessive pilling after 2 weeks, I would be shocked if this still looked presentable at 6 months let alone a year. I would return it, but I'm afraid the poor condition would cause the company to refuse a refund. The green color smells really weird like chemicals or plastic. I got the brown color same brand for my couch, and that has no smell. I washed them both before using, and the smell faded, but I can still smell it if I get close & sniff. We have a very old leather recliner in perfect working condition but there are darkened area where heads have rested over the years. I have tried various leather cleaners but not much joy yet. So I decided to try a slip cover. This cover comes in four pieces. I just used the back piece, as the arms and seat of the chair are fine. Worked perfectly!! It fits snug and attaches at the bottom back to the inner workings of the chair, so no slipping or tucking to worry with. This is made of a t-shirt type of fabric. Comfortable and soft. No more skin sticking to the leather on hot days. The dark red color I ordered matches perfectly with the leather of the recliner, so I am happy with the look. I was thinking of replacing this recliner, but this slip cover just bought me a few more years with it. Bonus: I am going to use the seat cover material to make a matching cover for my heating pad and the arm pieces to make a throw pillow. Nothing wasted. Fabulous product!
