I go to bed between 7 & 8pm before it's dark out, so I purchased a pair for my bedroom window. They block the light so well that I purchased a second set to put over the bedroom door (blocking the light from the door crack). I think it helps to muffle noise from outside & TV in the living room, but I'll have to use them longer than a week to know for certain. The panels overlap beautifully, they're lightweight & the same color on both sides. I may have to get longer ones for the window & install closer to the ceiling as light shines in at the top. Overall I think these are a great buy!

I don't know why so many people left bad reviews. These are quite heavy, silky smooth and you can not see through them. They aren't true blackout curtains though I got white ones, I would thi k dark curtains would keep out most light. All in all I am VERY happy with the quality and price. Might do my whole house in these.

I love these curtains and how easy they are to hang and how nice they look. I bought one really long panel for my balcony doors and loved it so much I turned around and bought the same curtains in different dimensions for my bedroom window. They are a beautiful texture and hang so well and I highly recommend them. I would not call these blackout in the sense that you can see light through the white curtains but it is still a great coverage and privacy. They slide so easily over the curtain rod. Great price too.

Totally work as blackout curtains. Easy to install, look great, you'll like them. Choose your favorite color! These are NOT shear, they are solid fabric and look great. Measure carefully for the correct length, a little longer for top and bottom, or much longer, your choice. Remember that you will need about 1.5 x the width of your window opening since the drape gently folds back and forth over the rod. When you put them up and they meet in the middle, have one end out and the other in so when they meet there is no space between the drapes. I bought them for all the windows. Highly recommended.

I bought these for my bedroom to replace my old curtains. These are thick, soft but still relatively lightweight. They keep the room nice and dark for sleeping in on the weekend or migraine days. The color of the Peacock Blue is amazing. Deep, beautiful, dark teal. Worth it. Bought them in the olive green color for my livingroom after the blue arrived.

I Got the white ones! They are really nice heavy and soft fabric, easy to iron and look amazing. Easy to install with large grommet holes. BUT the white ones do not block light out, they deflect only about 20% of light; If you are looking for more than that get another color. Only 3 stars because they are really nice but don’t do the job as advertised.
