I was so excited to get these skates, but unfortunately was a bit disappointed. First of all, I LOVE the wheels and laces as both light up with pretty, bright LED colors. The wheels light up whenever they turn, which on a skating rink floor looks awesome. The light-up laces are unique and add a great uniqueness to your skates. Now for the downsides- - These seem to run a bit on the bigger side. This thankfully can be remedied by wearing thick socks, which also helps to prevent blisters while breaking the skates in. - The bottom plate is PLASTIC and not metal! I am not sure the decision behind this, but this unfortunately makes these skates feel cheap and make me question how safe they are. Overall, these do make a great beginner set of skates for anyone that is looking to try out quad skating at their local rink. It definitely beats renting skates that have been used by possibly hundreds of people before you. Thankfully when I do wear thick socks they are pretty comfortable and easy to skate in! ... show more

These skates are awesome! Really smooth to skate in, and the lights really show when out on the rink! The one big downside is that the support brace on the bottom is actually plastic. I've never seen that before, and only had metal in the past. It doesn't seem particularly weak, but it does make me wonder how it will wear over time. With everything else about them, I just wish they were metal for the safety and peace of mind. ... show more

These are cute and simple skates for a beginner. I personally would not suggest these to an intermediate or above skater who skates often. These are cute and have ok bearings. Very smooth ride. The sole in the boot broke under my foot on the first skate. Aside from that, this is a smooth ride! The wheels light up as you skate along and I added the light up laces to mine. These skates could have been the perfect pair to roll around in. Why on earth, would you use plastic for the foot plate. Every pair of skates I have seen have a metal plate. I love the wheels that light up and the skates fit perfect. Just wont be able to skate too hard in these. Gentle skating only. I do like the nice accessories that came with these skates. A nice skate bag and light up laces. All this effort, I cant believe yall used plastic.....WHY???? ... show more

This pair of roller skates is exactly what I was looking for. I haven’t skated in years, but I always loved it, so I ordered these skates to get back into it. The skates fit perfectly. They come with light up laces and black laces. The wheels light when they roll. The wheels roll very smoothly. I haven’t quite fallen on my butt yet, but it’s come close. The skates come with a carry bag as well, which is super nice. The only thing I did not like is there was a red sticker stuck on the back of each and stitched in. It is almost impossible to remove, so there’s just part of a red sticker on each skate. ... show more

So these are better than I was expecting, in overall quality and fit. The last pair I ordered were way to large and cheap. These however, I ordered my usual size, and they are a tiny bit big. I just wear thick socks or double up because when I wear skates I like a snug fit. Other than that, I love that it comes with the light up wheels. They look great and ride very smooth. The skates themselves are good quality, the material is thicker and not flimsy or cheap at all. They look good and even cooler- they come with LED light up laces! My kids were so jealous! They feel pretty comfortable on my feet but you could also add inserts, for added comfort. All in all, these are decent skates for a good price. ... show more

These run a bit wide, but just wear thick socks and lace them up tight. I'm almost 50, haven't roller skated since I was a pre-teen, and took my first lap in these around the living room just now. They were comfortable and smooth, and I didn't wipe out. Definitely perfect for recreational nostalgia, not sure if they're fast enough for roller derby, or maneuverable enough for tricks.
