Easy to install, very secure, stands up to being hit with sticks. Jingles don't have much sustain and are a bit quiet, but it can be heard in a live situation. Good hardware.

This tambourine is inexpensive, but it sounds cheap. The jingles must be made of aluminum instead of steel, because they just don't have any sustain or musicality, and they do not cut through the band like a tambourine should. And you definitely would not want to record with this item. I'm all for getting a product at a good price, but it's not worth it to buy a product that does not sound musical. For just $15 more I bought the Meinl Percussion HTMT2BK. It is built to last with more quality materials, sounds great and cuts through way better than this product.
