This set is SUPER PADDED! I was concerned because I own a 1960's Rogers Holiday Jazz Set and thought they might be too small. They are not. They are larger than advertised. The protection is great and it comes with a bass drum pillow as well. I cannot recommend this case set enough. Don't hesitate. I also tried a cheaper set (Ouutme) but there was no comparison for the value. The cheaper set had almost no padding whatsoever. The price point on the EASTROCK is not even a reach....just a great value!

I just recently purchased a Pork Pie 13"x7" vented little squealer snare drum and needed a case to haul it around. When I saw this one on Amazon, I thought it might be too good to be true. A well padded soft-side snare drum case for well under what I would have paid had I gone to a music store. But this little beauty is well padded and seems sturdy with good stitching. I haven't had it long and may do an update to this review if it doesn't hold up and the zippers and seams start to go. But right now, I'm highly satisfied with my purchase and believe it's going to be just right for me. I only gave it 4 stars on durability and sturdiness because of the short time period that I have had it. As I stated, it looks like it will hold up for me for the next few years, but at this point, only time will tell. If you are a percussionist that is on tour, however, I would purchase nothing but hard cases. I don't believe this type of case would be good for "under the bus" traveling with the sudden starts and stops that would make the instruments slide into each other. My use will strictly be for me taking a snare drum and adding it to a drum set that is already set up at our church as I play contemporary Christian music in a worship band. To sum it all up, for professional touring, use a hard case. For personal use and short distance traveling, this bag is perfect.

It’s a bit undersized for my Ludwig 10” X 7” Classic Maple tom due to the larger mount. I expected the padding to be a little bit thicker too but it was definitely worth a shot for being a fraction of the price of the Ahead Armour cases. Nonetheless, I will only be purchasing Ahead Armour cases in the future since the quality remains unmatched compared to every other case I have tried so far. Ahead Armour cases would be absolutely perfect if they offered a strap on smaller sizes and if their Velcro handles were more robust. However, their form and fit is perfect but they cost an arm and a leg unfortunately.

This seems like it’s going to work nicely! The padding seems superb!! The fit is good ! The look is Very professional! The only thing missing is an accessory bag for the removed hardware!!!
