My kid got a 26 in this style as his first bat. he hits well with it so we decided to stick with this model in 28. 2" was a bit of a jump but I'm not trying to pay double for a 27 and a 28. It swung him a bit at first before he was used to the longer bat, and choked up when necessary. now he's grown into it and routine hits doubles in all his leagues and more recently a couple triples. ... show more

Overall, a solid bat that my kid is adjusting to and enjoying the feel of. The drop is great for this age 10-12 group in that if gives them more bat length but not a significant weight adjustment that would throw off their swing. I was shocked how much a little league bat is going for these days. Can't a kid just play some baseball without taking a loan. This bat fit the bill perfectly by providing solid metal bat, with a big sweet spot, super cushy grip, and a nice color, all for an affordable and reasonable price.
