Blundstones never fit me. They were too tight and I could never make it through the stretching out period. This on the other hand, fit great right out of the box. I was able to choose my “true to size” instead of getting a 1/2 size bigger with boots like a typically do. These are perfect.

The style of these boots is good, a basic Chelsea boot similar to a Blundstone or Sorel. However, they don’t offer much support for high arches and the leather feels a bit like plastic. The brown is a rich color that is hard to come by when everything camel colored is the rage. Worth the $75 I paid for the sale price, but probably wouldn’t have scooped these boots up for the full price. ... show more

    • Versatile and high quality, cute but tough boot

I am very pleasantly surprised with the quality and comfort of these boots. Similar boots run well over $100, so I didn't expect a lot, though they were expensive enough that I knew I was getting real leather. The fit is true to size, and the ankle opening isn’t too small, like some chelsea boots. I have high arches and was pleasantly surprised by the arch support when I first got my foot inside. If you have flat arches this might feel like a ball or wad of something stuck in your shoe, but I was delighted, since I usually have to use an insert. I don’t want to take them off. I need a boot for working outside in rough terrain, where I find I’m ruining my Timbs booties. These are fashionable, tho, so can be used for anything. Clunky but not too clunky, another relief. I’m 5’0” tall and 120 lbs so with my stubby legs clunky boots not cute, but these look great. I find myself using as a work boot as well as a fashion boot, after cleaning up, which is easily done. These fit comfortably right out of the box. The elastic on the sides is wide and makes these much easier to slide on my feet than other, similar styled brands, but they are still cute and look good. Having worn them for a couple weeks now, I will probably add an insole - the standard footbed is very soft and comfortable, but I have bad ankles so I need more support if I'm standing for a long time. ... show more
