My child decided to join the percussion team in band and needed to learn to play quickly. This snare drum is perfect for practice because of the mute pad that is included. The carrying case/backpack is great for traveling with it as well. The color beautiful and size is perfect.

We put this drum in our Brew Pub for walk-in musicians to play. We have other instruments as well, including a stand up piano. This drum gets daily use and is holding up well. Our Jazz brunch always has someone on this drum. Great value and quality.

Quality shell for the $. Having 10 lugs makes a difference keeping the heads even in tension. Changed both heads with Evans HD for the batter and #300 clear for the side. Also changed snare to Puresound 30 wire from 20 that comes with the drum. Still working on getting the ring sound just right. For the dollars, this is a good shell. Will just have to spend @ another $40-45 for better sound. Damper knob is difficult to get right. Reason for 4 stars

Really great Snare for the price. Shiny black starry look is pretty and clean. The hardware for the stand is very sturdy and easy to assemble, but a little tall. The drum itself is a very thick, hardy shell with some to be expected cheap heads. Replacing heads would result in an immediate pro level Snare. Overall good sound both active and not. Comes with a nice bag, a practice pad and sound dampener, and set of sticks. An amazing value at the price for everything included. Pleased.

I have never drummed before, I just wanted a little snare to hit on. I love it. It is a great snare for a beginner. It arrived in a compact package, and the installation was very easy. The sound is clear and beautiful. I also like the carrying bag. It is very useful, I can carry my snare to everywhere that I want to. The outlook of the snare is also very cool and elegant.
