Hard to find the Glycerin soaps on the market as one could pre ‘COVID.’ As with many things in the past 2-3 yrs. We decided to try our hand at making our own Glycerin Soap, scented as each of us prefers. Glycerin bar when properly used is great item for our purposes. Would buy again.

It’s very soapy smelling, so my advice to anyone starting to make soaps be sure to make it smell strong. We added in all natural ingredients but the soap smell was very overpowering. Either add extracts for soap making or make your own extract for scent. Overall, we loved making soap and the benefits are way better than store bought junk with added chemicals. ... show more

    • Clean and Does not melt away in the shower quickly
Glycerin soaps tend to love water and then its gone really quickly. Not this one, its easy enough to melt and pour into larger molds, it lathers fine in the shower, but does not melt like other brands I have tried. This is a great soapy base.

    • If you like the smell of dial soap, this is just for you.
The good to this product is if you like bubbles, its got that. It cleans well, but it doesnt do much for softness of the skin afterwards. But.. The smell of this soap is extremely hard to cover unless you add a half a bottle of essential oils.. it said it was clear, it’s definitely white. It has a very strong dial soap smell. It sweat pretty bad, but im not sure if that was my fault for trying to cover the smell or what.. but i had different expectations of this product. This was my first time making soaps, and im not sure if there is an unscented base, but this is definitely not it. Not completely satisfied with this purchase but it is what it is i guess. I had intended to make a bunch of soap bars for my family when we went to our family reunion last week.. unfortunately nothing worked out so i scratched the idea totally. ... show more
