I own 22 guitars, including high end Gibsons and PRS. I received this as a surprise gift because I put it on my wish list as a possible project guitar. I work on all my guitars, so out of the box this guitar needed a full set up, which is to be expected in this price range. So if you do not know how to do that, expect to pay a luthier about $60 to do it. I'll give you my point by point inspection. Finish - satin finish including the fingerboard, and no visible cosmetic flaws- very attractive guitar. Burled top is unique. The frets are stainless steel, and fretwork was outstanding. No leveling needed and it even had the rounded "hot dog" ends, super comfy with no sharp edges. Strings looked to be D'addario - but they are not. They are not very good and turned my fingers black - no big deal. Neck is super comfy, with a compound radius, feels like a flat C shape. The nut is plastic which I usually dislike, but with a zero fret and the tuning at the bridge - tuning stability is fine-Not sure a replacement is really needed. Pickups are surprisingly nice, as I was expecting to replace them. But after playing this a few days, I really think the tone improvement would be minimal. The bridge is unique and different from anything I have in my collection. There is no manual on how to use it, but I found a few youtube videos which clearly explained how to set it up. String changes are fast (but you need to trim them). Weight feels like around 7 pounds. Overall, I am beyond impressed considering the price point. Of course it doesn't play as good as my high end guitars - but it does a killer job for the price point and as good as guitars costing twice as much. I decided that I am going to leave it alone and not upgrade anything. But for those tone chasers, you can replace the electronics and still not break the bank for a very nice guitar. ... show more

I bought this guitar when it went on sale for Black Friday. I'm glad that I had because this has become my daily driver. I have an EVH Wolfgang, Yamaha Pacifica and a Jackson 7 string, but reach for this one 70% of the time due to a combination of it's tone and convenience. I love being able to play into my audio interface through an amp sim at my desk without whacking the headstock on the desk. Highly recommend checking it out. ... show more

I ordered this one off the Eart website not amazon, and boy its good. Pickups are a pleasant surprise, I say this coming from someone who winds their own pickups so when i say that theyre nice, then theyre actually quite nice. Honestly love this guitar. I will say the description and information here is obviously lacking in the grammar department, but all of that aside the guitar itself is amazing. Pickups are solid, frets are clean, sound is nice (I play dropped to Eb and C standard), playability and overall quality is above that of my Squier HSS Strat which costs a similar amount.
