So I told myself I would never again buy a cheap guitar in this lifetime, especially based on reviews from the web, due to some past disappointments buying things on line. But I always kind of wanted a thinline, never found one that felt right at music stores, and couldn't help seeing what people were saying about Eart. I just got it delivered early this morning and, well, I guess what I was supposed to get done today can be done another day. Beautiful guitar. It doesn't play at all like a cheap guitar, and I don't think I am going to mess with the action at all--fairly low but no buzzing. Even the strings that came with it were good. The pickups are not bad--this is where it may see some upgrades though. But it really is a pleasant surprise and is what I was hoping for after going through the reviews. I had never played a compound fretboard and was concerned how it might feel (used to vintage Fender radius boards) but found that while playing I don't even notice anything except it is comfortable. I think the neck will feel better and better after getting broke in. So here is another positive review to add to the stack. Way to go Eart. Can't wait to play it with the band and see how it does. ... show more

    • Get one while you can
this one bats completely out of its league. Zero buzz or shielding issues, the pickup are dead silent, full volume, full tone. Perfect packaging, setup, intonation adjustment, no fret buzz, nice action. Balances good on a strap. Very visually striking in an oddly subdued kind of way. Zero quality control issues (there’s no overspray in f hole or anywhere). No weird spots or spots where finish is thin or dry looking. The finish is glassy smooth and doesn’t feel cheap or plastic like. Even the knobs are nice, and I usually always want to upgrade those. I had real thinline type 2, and a custom and a deluxe. This is really a better guitar than the vintage American ones I had back in the 80s. This one is ready to slug it out in any lodge, anywhere USA, for a 4 hour set. Stays in tune real well even with serious bending which is easy to pull off with the compound radius neck. ... show more

I ordered this guitar because of the reviews on their other models on You Tube. This EART Guitar is The best guitar I have ever bought for under $400.00 May be I got lucky but I am impressed and beyond. Every detail is Excellent in every way ! I own over 40 guitars all brands included and this is a High end guitar starting with SS Frets ,Roasted Mahogany body ,the Truss rod adjustment,the very high ratio tuners,the bridge,Maple neck ,The dual humbucker Pickups,The rosewood fretboard and the high Gloss Wood grain finish is perfect ! Also set up was perfect in every way ! Just the neck is worth more than the Guitar costs and it's on sale WOW ! ... show more

    • Not a cheap guitar
Some people say words like “budget” or “cheap option” etc when referencing guitars. Or even worse they say “it’s great for a cheap guitar” and pigeon hole it into the budget genre. I won’t do that. This is a fantastic guitar, surprisingly so. I wasn’t expecting much but everything is 100% perfect land I’m someone who notices every little thing. The finish, stainless fretwork, the pickups, and the roasted maple neck are better than anything Fender is putting out right now. Hell less wrong with it than my Gibson 335 I picked up at Gibson in June. I highly recommend this model and the EART brand based on this guitar. ... show more

    • Was better than I expected but...

Showed up clean and almost in tune. Changed out the strings and intonation. This is a great guitar but should have been a bit cheaper. I like the stainless steel frets and the work on them was really good (only had some minor setup filing. I would 100% recommend a buy at 349 or lower. I paid full price at 400. ... show more

Not sure how they can build a guitar of this quality for this price. I own several expensive guitars, and this one meets or exceeds the quality of all of them. I've followed the reviews for a couple of years and decided to order, not one, but three different models. I'm here to say they are all keepers. Really don't have the room in my collection, but these are too good to return. Try them as I can't believe they can continue to produce guitars with these features and quality for the price.     • Terrible Shipping! Great Guitar!
My guitar was shipped via USPS and arrived on a terribly rainy day. USPS left the package at my street-side mailbox sitting in the rain. Fortunately EART packaged the guitar very nicely .... it fits like a glove in a molded styrofoam cocoon (within the box) that protected it. The guitar needs a mild set-up, but for $230 (the "on-sale" price that I paid) this guitar is fantastic! Plays very well and sounds good! The fret work is something to behold. Amazon advertised the guitar erroneously showing a photo of the white version of the EART T-380 but with a description of the EART E-TT in Sunburst (what I received) but I guessed that this might be the case and took a chance knowing that I could return it. ... show more
