  • It is worth every pennies - Pleasant to own and play!
Color: LP3 Sunburst
Price comparison of this guitar among many others of the same specifications, this guitar stands in high price area, but it is worth the price. Before purchasing, I did read reviews. I would agree the 5 stars it deserved. This receive from my humbly another 5. The guitar was shipped quickly (a great thing for me) , very well packaged, the guitar well situated and protected in the foam around its entire body. No damages, no scratches, no detailed defects. no uneven paints. The frets, the tuners, the saddles, the pickups, elegant, good looking knobs, the switch etc. all perfect, the manufacturing, the assemblies were attentive to the details. I love it every bits. Setup: The frets are rounded and smooth, pleasant to hold and play. I like the neck contour that fit my personal feel, love the neck and fretboard wood. The weight: light. The action: strings are low enough, easy to play and no buzzes. The look: elegant to my taste. The intonation is so precisely set. One thing I would do is to mount a set of string that I would personally like. I like the treble sound from the Bridge pickup, better than many others I have purchased and DIY assembled/mod'ed. I would recommend!!! ... show more

  • Exceptional value, except for neck dive
Color: Green
This is a really great guitar. The neck is really the star of the show with these Eart guitars. It's amazing that stainless steel frets are still uncommon on the typical big brand guitars without having to go to custom shop, or the top of the line models. Although this Eart guitar is nice and light, it also suffers from pretty severe neck dive. You might want to counter it by adding weights in the cavity, or having to use a guitar strap that provides some grip. I did not know this before purchasing for my son, but would still do it anyway because it is still amazing for the price. ... show more

  • This is an outstanding guitar with high end features.
Color: White
Absolutely fabulous! The white high gloss finish, the fit, the alignment, the nut, the frets, the tuning pegs, all the electronics; and the set up — All of it as good as it gets. EART hit this one out of the park. And, the guitar is lightweight, under 7 pds. One minor complaint: very slight neck dive, just wear a sticky strap. EART is paying a tribute to the 1972 Fender Thinline Telecaster with this reproduction. Just like the ‘72 Fender, this guitar has wide range humbuckers; which means that if I select the bridge humbucker, turn my amp to clean, lower the bass, increase the the treble and mid, the guitar sounds just like a twangy Fender telecaster with single coils. If I use a pointed pick and strum near the bridge, it’s as single coil sounding as it gets. And if I want to get dirty, just increase high gain, these humbuckers will handle that too. I’m not going to bore you to death with the numbers, so I’ll just say that the set up was exactly the way I would have done it, myself; low string action, low relief (straight neck), nut slot heights cut perfectly, and intonation was spot on for every string. And when I fret the low E string, the g, a, b, c, and d notes intonate perfectly. I’ve had everything from inexpensive Glarrys, to expensive Charvels, so when I say I’m impressed with this guitar, I know what I’m talking about. And, I realize, I probably got a little lucky, receiving this guitar without any flaws, and practically a perfect set up. Who knows, if I ordered another one, I might not have the same luck; I might have to make a few adjustments. But this guitar punches way above its weight (price range), and would be well worth the effort to address any minor issues if that were the case. Oh, I almost forgot, the 9.5” - 14” compound radius, as well as the U to C shape of the neck are excellent for chords or lead. Really, I can’t find anything I dislike about this guitar. I feel as if, I’m going to end up playing this one more than the others. While the price is significantly discounted ($269) I’d jump on it. ... show more

  • Get one while you can
Color: LP3 Sunburst
this one bats completely out of its league. Zero buzz or shielding issues, the pickup are dead silent, full volume, full tone. Perfect packaging, setup, intonation adjustment, no fret buzz, nice action. Balances good on a strap. Very visually striking in an oddly subdued kind of way. Zero quality control issues (there’s no overspray in f hole or anywhere). No weird spots or spots where finish is thin or dry looking. The finish is glassy smooth and doesn’t feel cheap or plastic like. Even the knobs are nice, and I usually always want to upgrade those. I had real thinline type 2, and a custom and a deluxe. This is really a better guitar than the vintage American ones I had back in the 80s. This one is ready to slug it out in any lodge, anywhere USA, for a 4 hour set. Stays in tune real well even with serious bending which is easy to pull off with the compound radius neck. ... show more

  • Best Buy for the Buck I Have Ever Seen!!!
Color: Green
I have listened to many guitar reviews on YouTube where the reviewers talk about the hyperbole spoken by people who tell us that their new two-to-five-hundred-dollar guitar will match any 2000-dollar guitar on the market. Don’t listen to them! It’s not always hyperbole! In many cases it’s just a cold hard fact. The combination of new manufacturers who are taking advantage of cheap labor and the implementation of incredible design features as well as some incredibly precise CNC machinery has made it possible for many new entrepreneurs in the guitar industry to build guitars that are not only equal to but in many cases can surpass some of the big boys like Gibson and Fender and Gretsch. In fact, they can even compete with the likes of Japanese companies like Yamaha and PRS and Ibanez. Sooner or later the American consumer is going to wake up to the fact that a quality CNC Machine really doesn’t care about whether it is operating in the good old USA or Indonesia or China. So now, all this enlightenment brings us to the subject of the new Eart E-TT72 (Tele) guitar that I recently purchased through Amazon. I own a lot of guitars valued between 300 and 2200 dollars. This new Eart Guitar on sale for 279 (Normally 399) Will match or surpass the quality, the playability and the sound quality of any one of them. Also, It’s the first guitar I’ve ever purchased in my life that arrived with a flawless setup. Now, it goes without saying that some elements of the perfect setup are subjective because we all have different opinions of what the perfect string height is or the perfect neck relief. I received this guitar with a 2mm string height at the 12th fret and pretty close to zero relief (Board straight) with these settings the guitar was a dream to play and the intonation was perfect (at least as perfect as my Boss Tuner could measure it.) The fit and finish of the guitar was absolutely flawless. I am no guitar snob, so I have no problems telling you that this is certain to become my favorite guitar! Let me finish by telling you this: At this price or even at the regular price of 400 you simply can’t go wrong with this purchase. Buy it! You’ll love it! Dennis UPDATE: Ok, it's been about 4 months or so. I recently connected my 950.00 Epiphone BB King Lucille and my 1300.00 ESP LTD EC-1000 along with this Eart Tele to a Fender Twin Reverb and it was kind of painful! I felt like I had to put the Lucille and the EC-1000 back in their cases because they just don't feel as good, intonate as well or sound as good as this 400.00 Eart Tele. Also Dead spots and Wolf notes up and down the neck were more pronounced than on the Eart. Don't get me wrong, all guitars regardless of price have dead spots and wolf notes, but those on the Eart were fewer and lest objectionable. This is insane!!! I'm now on a quest to find a guitar (at any price!) that I like better than the Eart. It's got to be some kind of mental defect! It just doesn't seem right to favor the cheapest guitar in your stable! I'm telling you, if your thinking at all about buying this guitar; don't hesitate. You will never regret it!!! • You will love this guitar even without the low price
Color: White
I have become jaded by the quality of the latest guitars from Gibson and started poking around. After reading reviews, I decided to buy this Tele copy. I got it for $355 and I'm not looking back! The shipping box it came in and the way it was packaged was amazing. It was perfectly intonated and pretty in tune... I only need to back the truss rod off a quarter turn. The low e string is buzzy but I think its just because the action is so low. I don't see any bad frets and it plays beautifully. The finish is WAY better than the Fender I just looked at in the music store. Specifically the inside edges of the f-holes are painted much better. Plugging it in, I think the electronics are great. They are perfectly quiet and the pick up sounds fine it think. Its a bit shimmery and mushy on high gain but... on clean or crunch it sounds amazing. Trying not to buy 10 more of these things! ... show more

  • Great guitar
Color: LP3 Sunburst
I just got it, and it sounds really good, for the price, I don’t think you can find a better deal, looks good, sounds good, and it feels good, and cause it’s semi hollow, it’s super lightweight, 10/10 recommended, the only thing, it’s that you can see the glue of the centerblock inside the f hole, but it doesn’t affect anything, and only you can see it, people around you can’t, and since it’s semi hollow, it has quite the neck dive, if it doesn’t bother you, go for it ... show more

  • Beautiful guitar and all you may have read about/seen online!
Color: LP3 Sunburst
Fantastic mid range guitar! My first order came with a small crack on the back (may have been shipping?) — but Amazon offered a complete replacement at no charge (despite the fact that the guitar had gone up in price by an additional $60 or so since I had ordered it). Second order arrived perfectly and was all that you may have read or heard about online. I'm a novice/newbie looking to learn and progress — so NOT an expert by any measure. But. I was/am super thrilled with this guitar, especially for the price. I read a lot and looked at a lot of online videos before starting this journey and I am very happy :) Only beef - and it's a little one - is that it is not as bright/colorful as you might see online. Online, the colors are more sunburst looking with a lot of red/yellow saturation. Mine came as much more of a tobacco/brown burst coloring. I'm fine with that — but your mileage may vary. It was/is a gorgeous guitar and has inspired me to start practicing and learning after so SO many years of thinking about it :) Have fun - regardless of whatever guitar you eventually decide on peeps! ... show more
