I was a little worried about not just going with name brand Peltors but Earmor changed the game. The sound quality is amazing with audible on/off voice cue. The headband was easy to disassemble to be able to mount these to a helmet. Bonus points for working perfectly with the 3M headphone mounts. The ear cups are super comfortable making them easy to wear for a decent amount of time. Like many of us, I've used Walker ear protection for years, both at the range and out in the yard. This is my first time trying EARMOR and I like them. But for me as a non-tactical guy, the real differentiator here is the soft gel ear cups. I found that these were comfortable to wear even for extended periods of time. The quality is good but feels in line with offerings from Walker. The noise reduction is really good. The fidelity of the audio pass-through is higher then Walker to my ears. But I'm a little bummed that there is no Bluetooth option at this price point. These have very deep cups compared to the Walkers so when folded up they take up a little bit more space in the bag. The additional depth doesn't feel weird when you're wearing them. They also have very thick soft gel ear pads that come installed out of the box. I've used these on walkers in the past but they weren't as thick as the EARMOR ones. I find these pads to be very comfortable and didn't create any hot spots or pressure on the sides of my head. These did a great job at the range with handgun ammo and I was able to clearly hear my range partner when he talked to me. It takes 2x AAA batteries for the ANC and the pass-through to work. These weren't included in the box but I prefer using batteries vs a USB charger. So that's a win to me. I'm just a homeowner not a cool operator so not having Bluetooth is kind of a downer. I like to listen to tunes when I'm doing loud stuff out in the shop or out in the yard. You can connect this to an audio source using the included headphone cable. But let's be honest I'm not doing that. I think these were designed more for the shooting space than the general use/ shop space and I think that's fine. It's clearly a good quality product especially if you prefer the soft gel ear cups ... show more
