    • Too much drone, 3” pipe is too much for a V6
Install is easy. We needed to cut the pipe for our truck as described in the instructions and the old system came out without cutting- we drove the truck up on 6x6” blocks. Easy bolt up. Deep note but waaay too much drone. The intermediate pipe is 3”, stock 2.5”. I think it would be a good system if the intermediate pipe was smaller. No way a V6 needs a 3”. After three weeks we put the stock exhaust back on. ... show more

Other reviews say it was too loud, well who buys an aftermarket exhaust and doesn’t want it to be loud, especially since this one deleted the resonator. If you want a performance sound from your truck get this exhaust. If you don’t, keep your truck stock. Simple as that. Pairs with a K&N Blackhawk Cold Air Intake and my 2019 ZR2 Colorado sounds incredible. Worth every penny! ... show more

    • Good sound, bad quality
I put this on my 2022 V6 Colorado and the sound is awesome! For me even better than a Magnaflow exhaust, just keep in mind the sound is loud and there is no way back unless you remove the system. 3 stars bc the exhaust tip paint is already deteriorating not even with 2 weeks of use. I will have to spend more bucks on heat resistant paint for the tip. ... show more

Exhaust was easy to install and sounds great but the exhaust tip does not fit. Will be contacting MBRP support.

    • Little Loud
Easy to install in very little time. Exterior sound is nice and mellow. Problem is there is a little too much interior reverberation. Once cruising speed is reached it mellows out nicely again. Acceleration is issue and am just trying to get the shift points smooth to reduce the cabin sound.
