It's just like the one they use at Claire's and a fifth of the price. It's not rocket science, you just line it up and push it together, and OH MY WORD in 3 seconds you have a piercing. I did it for my thirds. I got my seconds at claires and they charged me $60. At the time I was 13 and that was super expensive for me and still is. I bought an aftercare spray and this for $9.99. Wayyy easier and totally doable. It's a little painful, but honestly, it isn't nearly as bad as people make it seem. It's not really a gun, you do have to push it manually through your ear and I suggest pushing hard bc hesitating or stopping halfway through is what will make it painful. But really. Don't overthink it this was shockingly easy. if your scared of it getting infected then you have to clean it three times a day with after care spray for at least six weeks and make sure when you pierce, everything is sterile. Ppl say this is the less "safe" option, and maybe it is but its worth the risk and as long you clean it three times a day with saline or aftercare spray you'll be fine.

This piercing kit works great. Fast, easy and inexpensive. Truly think anyone can use this piercing gun. If you get it wrong take out the stud right away, buy another kit and try again. Youâre still saving a massive amount of money. Claireâs is no better and you have to buy their aftercare solution and earring set neither of which you need. The quality of these earrings were not to my liking and I had no intention to use them for anything other than getting the hole in my ear and wearing for 1 wk before I switched out to shorter posts that didnât stab me in the neck. These posts are doe for piercing and are not meant to be worn after initially healing period, I would imagine. They looked cheap to me, but again the whole kit is $10 bucks youâre paying for the piercing apparatus, not the jewelry. Just ordered a second kit. Itâs honestly less anxiety provoking than having some teenager at the mall use the same mechanism. Youâre in control of the process and I donât know about everyone else but I trust myself more than some 17-year-old stranger. Last time I had my ears pierced at Claireâs the clerk had on those ridiculously long clickety clack nail tips that made it difficult for her to put back on the post and every time they came toward my face it was scary. Thereâs a lot of negativity about piercing guns but assuming youâre using them for a routine lobe piercing a lot of the hate by the professionals towards the guns vs. the needle stems from a loss of revenue for their piercing shops. Driving in Atlanta is more dangerous than a piercing gun! I will take my chances and am super please with the results of this first âstabâ at it. Pun intended. đ

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I gotta say, these are pretty amazing. I have tried getting piercings done at stores, and somehow they never seemed to be where I wanted them despite marking beforehand. I appreciate being able to control exactly where the piercing is going. With this, I've been able to pierce my conch, tragus, and two helix. They have not given me any problems, although I recommend buying a skin marker pen and a cleaning solution for the piercings. Its best if you don't hesitate with these, so make sure its exactly where you want to go. I did unfortunately have one dud piercing, I guess the mechanism failed, but it didn't even pierce my ear, so I just got a new one. Obviously it wont be able to do more complicated piercings like a rook or daith, but it can do a lot for the price! I searched this up on Amazon and I went ahead and purchased it and I re-pierced my earlobes and then added some more. I plan to buy another gun with a smaller piercing to go higher up! I honestly really love this. Itâs really convenient and itâs better than paying $100 for an ear piercing at a piercing studio. They say that your guns are not good for your ear, but honestly, the ear piercing that it comes with has kind of like a needle at the end so it honestly works out fine. You just sanitize your hands, sanitize your ear with the alcohol pod mark the correct position place it and then take a deep breath in and squeeze the clamp really fast and then let it go. Honestly, it really was pain-free. All you can feel is just it going through. I did ice it as well. It was not painful at all. I was scared, but it literally was nothing !đđ 10 out of 10 will continue to buy everything should go fine if you just do things the correct way

The size was perfect for a third piercing in my ear. The first one clicked and the plastic pieces came off, but it did not successfully go into the earring back. So I had to push the earring with my hands a little more then place the back on. The second one went smoothly. I never thought I would be able to pierce my own ears! I finished both very quickly!

This is my second time purchasing this kit. The first time I pierced my fourth and the second time I did my cartilage and (attempted) to do a triangle piercing. I was so nervous so it took me about 10-15 minutes to build up the courage and once I did it I said âthatâs it?â. It was a quick pinch and it was done. I will say that my cartilage hurt a lot more though. I used to have a piercing there but I had taken it out so it closed up. I really didnât think it would hurt all that much but itâs definitely a lot more red than my lobes. My attempt at a triangle piercing did not hurt one bit! I think I could have gone a little lower but I also think itâs the size of the earring that makes it look like itâs too high up so I do wish there was a small size option but itâll do for now. Also make sure you have it angled right before pulling the trigger. I did mess up slightly on the first one I did so I hope I donât have issues in the future but it should be alright! Def recommend!!
