After getting the AirPods Max and being in love with the sound quality and the noise cancellation (not the biggest selling point for me personally), there was one glaring miss that Apple made with these otherwise amazing headphones. The earcups that came stock on the AirPods Max, while extremely well built and very easy to replace (great design by Apple), the feel was terrible for me. The stock earcups left me with irritation around my ears after wearing them for any length of time (longer than about 30 minutes). I feverishly began searching for replacements, and most importantly, leather (or simulated leather) is what I was looking for. Sadly - there were no options out on the market. It was then that I happened to come across these gems. After receiving them, I immediately noticed the overall build quality was equal to the stock earcups that came with the AirPods Max, the fit and design was almost impossible to tell apart. The feel of the material was soft, plush and feels very high quality. As you can see in the photos - they are almost impossible to tell apart from the stock earcups that came on the AirPods Max. There was one person that noted in another review that the noise cancellation is not quite up to par with the stock earcups, I did find this to be the case as well, however - it is NOT something that bothers me and not something that would warrant me lowering the rating on these. The overall quality, the feel around my ears all while still maintaining an accurate and pleasing sound profile (when listening to music) makes it easy for me to give these 5 stars. If you are looking for a replacement and don’t want the itchy feeling associated with the stock earcups - then definitely check these out!

Okay I bought the cheap mesh fabric one when I first got my AirPods; it was of bad quality, but I just needed an extra one to keep in hand whenever I wash the original ones and wait for them to dry. Fast forward 2 years, I started shopping for new ones after both the original cushions and cheap mesh ones were worn out, and stumbled upon these Lambskin ones. I thought they were expensive, and said if they don’t feel good, I’ll just return them. They turned out to be AMAZING. Great fit, they don’t really collect sweat/condensation like the other ones. 100% make the AirPods feel a lot better than even the original ones do. TLDR, Just buy the Lambskin ones and thank me later.

I actually didn’t expect them to be this good. I developed an allergy from using the originals so I got these. Very comfortable and they don’t generate heat. The only negative point is that they make a scratching sound when they rub against clothes or collars. Recommend

Material Type: Faux Leather
The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the Earrock Ear Cushions for AirPods Max Headphones, and unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. Let me break down my concerns: Material Quality: The ear cushions are made of a subpar material that feels cheap and lacks durability. They don’t provide the comfort or premium feel I expected. It’s disappointing that they fall short of the promised quality. Misleading Product Description: The description on the website led me to believe that these earpads would enhance my listening experience. However, the reality is quite different. The material is nowhere near the “protein leather” quality claimed. It’s more like a low-grade imitation. Open Box Upon Arrival: The product arrived with an open box, which raises concerns. It seems someone else might have returned the same item before me. This lack of quality control is unacceptable. In summary, I cannot recommend the Earrock Ear Cushions to anyone. If you’re considering purchasing them, I advise you to look elsewhere. Honest reviews matter, and I hope my feedback helps others make informed decisions. Remember, as consumers, we deserve accurate information and quality products. Let’s hold sellers accountable for their claims.

Material Type: Faux Leather
Material: The Earrock replacement ear pads are made from protein leather and memory foam, offering both comfort and durability. The memory foam adapts to the shape of your ears, ensuring comfort during extended listening sessions. Magnetic Attachment: These ear pads feature a magnetic attachment system, making them easy to swap out and securely attach to your AirPods Max without any hassle. Compatibility: Specifically engineered for the AirPods Max, these ear pads ensure a perfect fit. Color: Available in classic black, these ear pads match the aesthetic of the original AirPods Max cushions. The color is accurate and blends seamlessly with the original design. Performance: In everyday use, the Earrock ear pads perform comparably to the Apple-certified ear pads in terms of comfort. During home use and at the gym, they provide long-lasting comfort and the protein leather prevents sweat absorption. However, there is a noticeable difference in sound quality. The Earrock ear pads produce a more hollow sound and are less effective at noise reduction, allowing wind and high-pitched sounds to leak in. Bottom Line: Earrock replacement ear pads are a cost-effective alternative to the original ear pads, maintaining the same level of comfort. They are decent for gym use, but the lower sound quality and noise reduction make them less ideal for other environments.

I got the Lambskin Ear Pads as a back up however I use it as my main set of ear pads. Pros: -Much easier to clean than the stock ear pads (I use leather cleaning wipes) -Magnet is strong enough, didn't notice a difference -Very comfortable, has a good seal so it improves noise cancellation (worn for 10+ hours a day) Cons: - pricey - can get a little hot sometimes if worn for very long periods
