In almost all brands of shoes I wear a size 10 US, occasionally a 10.5. I ordered these in a 10 and they were slightly too snug so I've replaced them with a 10.5 US (sole shows Euro 44). Using their suggested sizing (drawing lines on paper) my feet are 11" long and 4.25" at the widest point. Wearing thin Merino wool socks the 10.5 fit very comfortably. My right big toe is ever so slightly pushing against the shoe but that's down to me having a bigger right foot. I am considering ordering a second pair in size 11 and using the right foot shoe from that order and the 10.5 for my left foot. I've also worn these with thick Merino wool socks and they are too snug, but only just. The outer material is soft and slightly stretchy so I imagine in a few weeks or months they'll have given a litle room so hopefully no more problem with the right toe. These are not waterproof, just mildly water resistant. I've walked outside on a damp pavement with light rain and they do keep the water out. I will not try them in snow nor puddles nor heavy rain as there's no need. I am sure they will let water in. Unless these were made of a superior waterproof material like GoreTex they are not going to be waterproof if they are breathable as the manufacturer claims. If the outer material is able to let heat moisture out, then rain can penetrate in - simple physics. As they are lined with cheap but toasty artificial fur they will make your feet perspire hence my recommendation to wear Merino wool socks, not cotton (cotton retains moisture which will either generate more dampness if your feet are hot, or worse they'll make your feet cold if you're outside in low temperatures). Sorry for the long and detailed review but I wanted to help share my experience and knowledge of winter footwear. I have owned, or do own, a variety of winter boots like Sorel Caribou, Columbia Bugaboot, Merrill Thermo, and I do extensive research before buying and keeping anything (I return over half of what I buy when things aren't up to standard). For forty odd dollars, and with reasonable expectations, these boots are a great purchase for mildly cold but mostly dry weather. Anything too far under 32 degrees F, and/or with heavy rain or snow, these won't work. The Columbia or Merrill mentioned above will do the trick but obviously at a multiple of the price.

I saw mixed reviews regarding size. In my case I ordered my usual size of 8 1/2 and the fit was perfect. That being said slipping my foot past the boots ankle was a little snug but again perfect once on.

They seem well made, comfy, and warm, and not bad looking. The only problem is that I could not get my foot into them. The opening would not stretch enough-I would put my toes in and midway up my arch, then the back of the boot would collapse and I could not get my heel in. The little handle in the back was too small to aid in pulling the back up. On another attempt I have a shoe horn I used, and managed to get my right foot in but no luck with my left foot. After a few attempts I gave up-too much work to keep these and go through this fight with every use. Maybe a younger person would have more luck, but not this gal.

I like these. I don't "love" them but I really like them. They fill a footwear void that I had at a much lower price than other types of shoes I was considering. I needed some warm(ish) comfortable shoes to put on in the early mornings for walks outside that could stand up to a little wet weather or light snow that weren't hiking shoes, tennis shoes, or snow boots. These fit into that little void. For me, they are not "slip on" but require a bit of tugging--I wish the little loop at the back were functional, that would make getting them on much quicker. But once they are on they work very well. They are cute in an "ugly cute" sort of way. I'm happy with this purchase for the price!
