Been waiting for Ulta to have this in stock and they still don't, so saw it on Amazon and took a chance. I can say I am very impressed....packaging came as not used and sealed. I am 47 yrs old and don't have blemishes/any skin disease (rosacia) and have very minimal age spots and this foundation I think is the best foundation I have ever used, besides Clinique Even Better Glow, but I wanted to get away from anything too glowy and cheaper and this foundation is perfect. Not glowy nor matte, it's in between. It is medium coverage, so if you're looking to hide such blemish issues than maybe it is not for you, but they do say this foundation is buildable, but I didn't use too much at all. So I didn't know which shade to choose at first, so I went to the Elf's direct website and they had a "find your match" section and it told me to get #44, tan cool and it is right on. No oxidizing and stayed put, as long as you use good primer and setting spray, which I use Elf's porelss liquid primer and Urban Decay's All Nighter setting spray, which both are great! I purchased this as I read that it is supposed to be similar to Armani’s Luminous Silk foundation. It has a great medium buildable coverage and a natural radiant finish, but not overly glowy. Very happy with it. Shade was true to what I was looking for.

First of all, I am 66, so I am not looking for any kind of "luminous" finish. This foundation does have a dewy finish or slight glow which brightens my face, making skin look less dull. The foundation goes on very smoothly, nice and creamy. Most importantly, while most foundations do nothing for firmness or lines, this foundation applied over my Misha BB cream looked really good and full, and did not settle in lines. I have difficulty finding the right shade for a medium cool tone, but really like the choices since many foundations do NOT offer an option for medium cool.     • Something is Just not Right

This was a reasonably priced new product to try. Since I use so many elf products , I thought I would try this. Wasn’t sure if I was getting a matte or a Dewey foundation and it’s really not either. I used elf primer underneath and the foundation did go on pretty well although I did have to build it to get a decent amount of coverage. I did all the things that I do with my other foundations and set it with the same powder. Within two hours, my face felt very greasy, and I already could see separation on the spot of my face that I usually want covered. It happened a couple of times. Don’t know if I am using this product wrong, but I will go back to my elfCamo or other foundations. Maybe I will mix this with some others to get a better result. I really love this foundation! I worked in the cosmetics industry for years . I have used all of the more expensive brands. I have seen many review videos on u tube so, I wanted to try this foundation. What I love about this product : I ordered on of the neutral light colors. The color is neutral ( meaning not warm : orange tone ) So, many drug store foundation immediately turn orange on me. The coverage is nice and you can add more for extra coverage without a tacky feeling ! It has a slight luminosity. My skin looks healthy with a nice glow . But, not too much. Your skin is moisturized,as well. The moisturizer is 1% Hydrating Hibiscus Complex.I set the foundation with a loose powder . I will be trying the elf powders soon. The slim bottle travels well & adds extra space in your cosmetics bag. I used a #e.l.f. primer I will be reviewing! I highly recommend this foundation. It's a great value at $7.99. After seeing an ad for this foundation I ordered it in Light Neutral. The color match is very good. I used a few dots of the makeup on my face and buffed it in with a brush. It looked good, so I went on with my day. Later in the evening I caught my reflection in a mirror and was very impressed with how my makeup looked. It had been a hot day and I had been outside. It is light and covers my sun freckles nicely. I’m wearing 45 warm tan. It was not dewy or dry on me but gave me more of a Matt effect. Not bad for 54 year old skin. Doesn’t settle either. I did put a primer on first. Great price. Blends and sets nicely.
