I’ve been really into natural “your lips but better” makeup lately, and this tint completely surprised me in the best way. The formula feels super lightweight and watery going on, not sticky at all, and it gives the prettiest sheer flush of color that actually looks natural instead of overly done. I originally bought it for my lips, but I’ve been using it on my cheeks almost every day too. It blends out really easily with just my fingers and leaves a soft healthy glow without disturbing my makeup underneath. A little goes a long way, so I can tell this tiny bottle will last me awhile. What impressed me most is how long the stain lasts. Even after coffee and running errands, I still had color left without that patchy look some lip stains get. I do recommend working quickly because it sets fast, but once it’s on, it stays put beautifully. This is absolutely amazing. It's a beautiful color that stands out against my pale skin, but not too much. I noticed when I used it as a blush that it seems to have a bit of a shimmer to it, although I think it blended in with my natural lip color too much to tell when it was on my lips, because I didn't notice it then. However, it is very smudge proof, the tint doesn't transfer onto cup rims or straws. So far, it has lasted me at least 3 hours, it probably lasts longer, I just haven't actually used it throughout an entire day yet. I tried it when I first got it at 6pm, and it was still on at 9pm, so do with that what you will. When it comes to its consistency, it starts off as a very thin redish liquid, but it's not so thin that it would run off of your lips or cheeks. It takes around 30 seconds to dry it seems. When it's still wet, you can easily wipe it away with just your finger if you make a mistake, and it doesn't feel sticky to me. Once it dries, you can put whatever on it. I used lip liner and lip gloss. It does have a little bit of a shine to it on its own, but I prefer a more glossy look. Essentially, you can use it to look more matte or glossy. It did not transfer any color onto my lip gloss applicator when I applied it, which is good because I would prefer if my clear gloss stayed clear. But again, remember to let it dry. I don't think the lip tint has any fragrance to it, but I also can't smell very well, so who knows. It probably doesn't, as that would be unnecessary, but I can't tell you for sure. I really love this, it was a great purchase in my opinion. I will definitely be buying it again when I run out. I love the brownish berry color of this tint -- really pretty and super wearable on lips and cheeks, esp if your skin has warm undertones and your lips are a bit pigmented to start (photos are with and without one swipe). The stain sets in and dries down quickly -- the dry finish isn't hydrating but it's great for layering an SPF balm over (which is exactly why I wanted this kind of non-glossy stain). Minus one star for longevity -- while it's pretty transfer proof, it does tend to wear away in the center after eating. ... show more

This was my first time using a water tint product and Ioved it! I'm wearing the color Plums Up which is a nice berry color. It's very easy to layer with this product! I applied two coats on my lips and also dabbed some on my cheeks and it looked super natural! The stain lasted throughout the day. I will say, after some dinner of some oily Chinese food, the opacity DID wear down, but there was still a prominent, lighter stain left behind. The texture feels like nothing is on your skin! I’ve been testing the e.l.f. Sheer For It Blush Tint as a lip product. Here is my honest experience: The Good: Color: The "Cherry Cola" shade gives a beautiful, natural-looking flush that looks great both indoors and outdoors. Versatility: It is a multi-use product, which is a nice concept for a quick makeup routine. The Reality (The "Must-Know"): Drying Effect: This formula is quite drying on the lips. After wearing it for a while, my lips feel very parched. Maintenance: If you don't keep up with lip balm, the color starts to fade and look patchy quickly. I find that applying lip balm every 1–2 hours is absolutely essential to keep my lips comfortable and the color looking smooth. If you love the "stained" lip look, you will enjoy the color payoff. However, be prepared to treat this like a base layer that needs constant hydration. If you have dry lips or aren't someone who carries lip balm everywhere, this might be a bit high-maintenance for you. ... show more
