Once these wear off some it leaves almost a stain. Not best staying power but blend abilities can't be beat. I wished there were more shades, as most of the browns and the mauve have a slight funky orange undertone compared to the pink. You can't beat the price. These are usually my go to for summer due to natural shades and I blend 2 colors for dimension and depth. I have bought several times. Hope they expand shade range. They also aren't drying and aren't a horrible crayon texture. I would say these are a soft satin finish. ... show more

I really like it! I got the doppio espresso color. I like the strength of the pigment, how well it stays, and I also like how easy it is to smoothly blend it. I will be purchasing again and trying more of the elf lip liner colors for different lip combos. Right now my lip combo is firstly Vaseline lip therapy petroleum jelly, this doppio espresso lip liner and another e.l.f. lip product called the "sheer for it blush tint" in the color "Cherry Cola", topped off with a product by "Langmanni" called the SKIN lip oil, which I have two of and I alternate, depending on whichever I feel like, between the strawberry and the cherry colors. I am pretty new to using lip liner, but every time I tried to use lip liner before it scared me away because the products were not so blendeable, pigmented, smelt strange, or just looked really bad after a little while. But this lip liner is really awesome, and cheaper than the ones I've tried before even. I woild definitely recommend this liner to anyone who is looking for strong pigment liner, easy to use and blend, and also new users to lip liner like me (because of how easy it is to use and also fix up, the quality is good, it doesn't have a strange smell like others I had attempted to give a try in the past, and it's a really great price. This is a good product. It is a matte finish as the description states. It doesn't feel creamy; it feels dry. I got Merlot Tho and it's a bit too dark for me so I'll figure out what 1 shade lighter would be and order that next time. 1/16/2026 I ordered 2 more. Mauve Aside is too dark but very pretty. I absolutely loved this this lip liner. The formula is super creamy and glides on so smoothly. It was a joy to apply. The problem came when I saw the color on me. I purchased "Pinky Swear" which when you look at the picture of the strips swatched on the inner arms of different skin tones, this color looks like it leans pink as the name implies. Unfortunately on me, it is very Orange. I had to request a refund because I only wear pink shades of lipstick. Orange just doesn't work for my skintone. So I was thinking about purchasing another lip liner because I do love the formula but I couldn't find one that looked like it was pink and light enough so I'm not sure what I will do. ... show more
