Firstly, I am a 45 year old, reasonably well-preserved woman with normal/combination skin, no acne/scarring, very minimal visible sun damage, the beginnings of wrinkles, and large-ish pores on my cheeks in my under eye area. So, not a whole bunch to cover up, but I have to be careful about anything settling into fine lines and large pores. Also, I should add that if I can feel the makeup I’m wearing, it’s getting washed off and never used again. For me, makeup has to feel and look like it isn’t there AT ALL. I have been using the same foundation for going on 10 years (L’ORÉAL Magic Nude liquid to powder foundation). Don’t get me wrong. I still love it, but it can be a tad drying and I really liked the idea of simplicity of a true powder foundation. I shopped around and read reviews until I settled on this one made by E.l.f….and JUST WOW!! It applies in an instant with my kabuki brush, feels like I’m wearing nothing, and basically makes my skin look flawless…..literally FLAWLESS. Tossing my old standby right now!

The shade was wrong for my all over face [may be better with winter skin that’s lighter] but it’s perfect for my under eye. It does show texture though which can make it look and feel heavy.

I tried this as a fluke, as I didn't want to go shopping. I've order several easy less expensive foundations in between. This beats ALL of the "bargains" as well as the more expensive ones. It's very light, yet has incredible coverage. More impressive is the duration in which it lasts. ALL DAY, into the evening. When removing my make up, my face looks & feels smoother. It's scentless. (I prefer my own scents rather than competing ones.) It's non drying. Perfect for mixed skin. I ordered the lightest warm shade, which was slightly lighter than I needed, but it is spectacular for the T zone, under eyes, in eye corners. I'm just so impressed that I could find such a superior product at such a great price. It honestly makes me want to try more of their products. Please DO NOT discontinue because as new people try this product, they won't leave it! I sincerely recommend trying it.

This is freaky. I have use other foundations Bare Minerals, was a favorite, mostly because I felt it was good for my skin and in looks, nothing to brag about. But THIS, I think I have used it about 4 times and not once in 2 weeks... I can't even explain how much softer and smoother my face STILL IS! I never expected that AT ALL, but I still look like I have makeup on. I wish I had a pic for 'before' so I could show you. I am ALWAYS skeptical about a product, but will try once. I have already bought two MORE of these. At least try it, it MIGHT work as well for you as for me. For the price, you won't lose much if you are not happy with it. It does cover up those hormonal age spots I still get although I am well out of the hormonal stage, in my 70s with very few wrinkles. Hubby asked what I did to myself, I LOOK YOUNGER! HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY, my first elf face product and it is the BEST!!!

I would say I have combination skin, but I live in a humid climate. It looks nice when I first apply it but gets blotchy very easily and looks absolutely terrible. My skin honestly looks better without this and I have your average skin and blemishes/redness. Just skip this and spend the extra money om Bare Minerals or Laura Geller.
