I do put some moisturizer on my face first (my skin is terribly dry) but then immediately pump a little of the e.l.f. product onto my finger and then spread a small amount on each cheek. It spreads nicely and evenly, and never clumps. It covers my red spots pretty thoroughly, too. And a little really goes a long way. When it is completely dry, it does not crack at all, and I am happy for that! Even after 10 or 11 hours, it looks the same. I read this was a good dupe for IT CC cream so I used the ELF shade finder to match it to my previous brand color before orderering from Amazon.. Couldn't believe how closely it matched! I apply it with a cosmetic brush... much better, IMO, than a blender... resulting in smooth even coverage ... light, medium or full depending on the amount used. Skin feels so smooth when I wash it off...I recommend micellar water followed by gentle cleanser. My shade is 240. I'm a dyed medium blonde that pulls red ( natural hair is dark blond with a bit of white). My skin is combination and the color is fair- neutral... but it leans towards the warmer side of neutral. Eyes are hazel blue ... bluish with bits of gold that "change" depending what I'm wearing. ... show more

I bought this in hopes it would match up to my it cosmetics CC cream. It did not. Much thicker, not as dewy, didn't blend as well. The color is a bit more yellow and the coverage is full but feels thick. Would not purchase again

I had to return this. It is really hard to pick shades from a website. What I received was way way too light. I eventually purchased this from Target & it was still hard to get the right color. Product itself works fine

This is a great everyday CC makeup cover mostly because it contains Titanium Dioxide which is suppose to be a great protectant for your skin at a reasonable price. Actually it was dermatologist doctor who told me to always look for this ingredient.

After reading so many positive reviews, I was really hopeful that this CC cream would be my holy grail. To be fair, I have problematic, combination mature skin with light Rosacea, large pores, wrinkles. Thinking by now, after all of the products I've tried, nothing exists that will conquer all of that! But aside from that I am very disappointed in this tube of makeup. The tube itself is only half full ... as soon as I started pumping, it sucked in tight. The makeup came out in large spurts ... or not at all. So much mess, so much waste! Also the shade I chose (Light 210N) is VERY orangey. It did apply nicely with a damp beauty sponge ... but it didn't cover nearly as well as advertised. And within 30 minutes it was creased all over my face. Again, though ... my skin ... Unfortunately, will not be purchasing again. ... show more
