I'd wanted new plates for a while, and settled on these. I love them, and my husband has even remarked about how he likes them so much better than our old dishes. We especially like the rim around the edge. My only problem with them is that I have to be careful loading them in the dishwasher - there are some slots that have a bar running under, and that bar pushes them up just enough that they don't sit securely and roll around.
