OK so you'd think that it's just easy to pop in ...well, upon opening the box these were shipped in, I noticed that each piece is NOT symmetrical...not only that , but flipping it over the clips are longer on one side and shorter on the other. NO DIRECTIONS. Now what? After about 14 videos on " how easy these are to install " I finally found a 2 second " oh by the way " in the last vid stating the LONGER SECTION GOES AT THE BOTTOM. Take a look at my pic ...2017 JK. They SEEM to fit ok for street driving but I would guess they'd pop right out if you intend on doing any offroading as there is quite a bit of up-down play and an easy tug on each pulls them away from the clip with literally two fingers. Looks nice though.

Love these! I wanted purple but couldn't find any anywhere. So I bought these and spray painted them. Took me less than 30 minutes to paint them. Waited for them to dry and VIOLAAAAAAAA. Popped them in and I am in love!!!!! Hardest part was finding a color in spray paint. So happy with these!!!

Was very excited to put these on but unfortunately they won’t stay on my 2017 Jeep Unlimited Sahara. I even took off the grill to try and manipulate the clips into place but it was because of the shape not reaching to be able to clip & stay on. Will try another brand to see if there’s any difference before I put the money into an entirely new grill piece.

I think it looks great on my jeep. NO adhesive and it was difficult to install. It snaps in. If it doesn’t work one way flip it over and try again. There is a Up and a down way to install but it doesn’t tell you. Obviously figured it out but wish it had adhesive. I’ll see what happens. If I lose a grill I’ll update.

I purchased these to install on the grill of my 2017 JKU. I followed the directions and removed the grill but the inserts would not stay in. The clips are very small and just would not stay attached to my grill. There are probably variances in how the front grills are made so these maybe work on other jeeps but they did not stay on on mine. I returned them.

Bottom Line: Would buy again. Would recommend to others if they like the look. Pro: Looks awesome; easy to install. Con: There are slight blemishes at the top right of each piece, if visually inspected within a few feet (don't see from further out); The color is closer to a very dark grey, than a true black, but I kind of expect that from all "black" items (matches stock black fenders well) Concern: The attachment is via 3M automotive tape, which just makes me a little nervous. Details: As with all 3M automotive tape installations, make sure you clean the target surface thoroughly. Recommend soap water first, dry, then clean again with rubbing alcohol, being careful to not damage any surfaces in the process. They install in a specific direction, so test first with tape on, then remove tape when you're ready. The honeycomb pattern looks very good in my opinion. Wish the attachment was more of a bolt on, or something, though not sure how that would work. Have seen some other items for sale that are metal and bolt/clamp on on the backside of the grill, making installation a little more complex, but probably less worry of it falling off on the highway.
