I have a Dyson v7 and have been using the large brush head attachment it came with for years till it stopped working one day. I found this attachment and read where others said it was good for vinyl/hardwood. Most of my house is lvp/tile and thin carpeting. So I figured this would do better than the original attachment I’ve been using. This did NOT dissapoint me!!! I was blown away by how easily it picked up small crumbs and even parts of leaves! Where as the original brush head attachment I would have to go over a few times sometimes for it to pick up all the dirt. I thought I needed a new battery for the longest time but I really think this is what I needed. It works SO good!!!

This Dyson Fluffy head cleaner is exactly what I was looking for. I have a toddler and no pets around to clean up all the little bits and crumbs she leaves behind. Using the Swiffer just seemed to be a waste of time; I’d always find stuff I missed or that still needed a dust pan for. I decided to get a cordless vacuum and since we already own and love our traditional Dyson upright vacuum, I purchased a Dyson V8 Origin Motorhead when it went on sale. The head that model comes with is okay but still misses some crumbs. After doing some research and watching a bunch of reviews on Vacuum Wars YouTube channel, it was a better value for us to buy this head in addition to the V8 model than to splurge on the brand new V15 Detect, which retails for about $700. I have a 1500 square foot home and all of it has either vinyl plank or tile. We haven’t tried to vacuum the whole house on one charge, but I mainly bought this for the kitchen and play area. This head DOES NOT WORK ON CARPET, but it’s not designed to, so we still use the Dyson upright on our area rugs. This head makes cleaning so much easier to stay on top of. Try it!

Game changer, we have a normal V8 and we hated vacuuming our hardwood/vinyl floors because the sound always made us worried we’d be leaving scratches. This removes that worry. It vacuums just as well—we have 2 longhair cats and have not had to change our vacuum routine when switching to this. My only complaint is that it is harder to move in a straight line. We’ve had it for several months and I still find it difficult to maneuver sometimes. But I still like it enough I use it 100% of the time doing off-carpet vacuuming.

After purchasing a V8 Animal, I ran across an article which reviewed and recommended the fluffy head cleaner for anyone with hardwood floors. Our house is mostly vinyl plank flooring and we knew we didn't want to run a dust mop around the house every day, especially with the dog hair that accumulates too. We tried a dust mop after we first moved it and it didn't do the job well enough. The next day I popped the fluffy cleaner on the dyson and ran it around the house and it was amazing! The fluffy head picks up everything, even on low suction. I was worried that the mix of dog hair and my wife's long hair would interfere with the suction or clog up the head but nothing gets caught. I still can't believe how much this head picks up. It also does a good job of getting close enough to the baseboards and stairs. With how well it cleans, I don't dread cleaning the floor anymore. Because I know it will do such a good job, its easier for us to stay on top of cleaning our floors and we use it daily.
