The Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool™ Gen1 purifying fan automatically senses, captures and traps pollutants to purify your whole room.¹ It heats or cools the air, while removing 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns.³¹Tested per Dyson internal test standards for whole-room air projection (DTM108) and purification coverage (TM-003711).²Particle challenge by DEHS oil specified in EN1822 within a chamber specified in ASTM F3150. Tested in Max Mode for whole machine efficiency above 99.95%. Gas capture rates vary.³Tested per ISO 29463.

The heater in our apartment would take forever to heat up our big room where the babies sleep, the Dyson not only cleans the air but heats up the room quick. It’s nice and quiet and I love the timer function. I love the fact that it turns and you can have the air go floor level or higher up. It was expensive but honestly so worth it! Yeah I know, most of the reviews already told me, the “cool” is not an AC… true. But in my case the fan is good, the heater is even better. It truly is an amazing purifier though. If you plan on using with smart home, it is a great addition for automations. I was able to set it up to my Homebridge, it works now wife my Home app on iPhone. Much easier for Google and Alexa users. For some reason they disabled using phone app to use the heater, to be compliant? (Maybe just in California?) But you can still use the included remote, the remote….. well it does look nice, it does work… but you can tell they wanted to save money, at least in my opinion. It’s plastic, and the internals are visible from the top and bottom of the controller. It heats my room to a comfortable 85-90 degrees in about 15-20 minutes, and my room gets very cold with no insulation and plaster walls. Hope this helps! ... show more

Love…love. I bought one more then 10 years ago when they had them on sale at Target. It’s still kicking but the app doesn’t work on it but it still works. So that is why I decided to get this one. Will heat a room real quick and I like the fact that it is heat or cool. Just one thing you do have to stop it and then restart it to change from heat to cool vice versa. ... show more

The item was broken after I get it. I try to reach customer service. It is too difficult to reach them If you reach no body wants to help. They do not want to fix the device. They want to tele help for fixing ownself. I am not technician. If I buy a product I want it works regularly. I try to return it. I ship it back. They got the device but they do not refund the money for 15 days. Dyson makes good devices but they have terrific technical services and call center. I have 3 air purifies in my house but I think that is all. ... show more

Great product and will keep because it works, but the whole reason we decided on this fan was because we wanted to control it from the app for our infants room, without going in the room. There is some regulation that does not allow this, but when doing research I didnt see anything on not using the APP to do temp changes. It should be made clear that this is not an option and shouldnt be a point of advertising. ... show more
