This is my 3rd time replacing the headlight assemblies on my 2000 F150 and was very skeptical about purchasing this set due to my bad experiences with the other brands but I will say that so far I am very happy with these. They fit better than the others I’ve tried and the headlights were pretty much lined up correctly and took very little adjusting but I would highly recommend getting the ford headlight adjustment tool, would be almost impossible to do without it and made it so much easier. I didn't even try to install these things. I've learned (this is the 3rd set of headlights I am returning to Amazon) that the cheap Chinese crap that Amazon sells needs to be inspected before installation. First thing to check is whether or not the adjustment screws can actually be adjusted. If they don't fit the specialty adjusting tools for Ford headlights (also sold on Amazon) they can't be adjusted after installation, which means you have to magically be able to adjust the screws exactly where they need to be before you install them. Other option is you can drive with your headlights shining just wherever they happen to be aimed from the factory. Oncoming traffic might not appreciate you much. In summary, this is a worthless product if you intend to adjust your headlights properly. ... show more

    • Blinkers don’t seal properly, not as bright as factory lights

I like the look of these lights. I just have a couple of issues. This was installed on a 2000 F150 2WD 4.6L 1: the turn signal lights don’t seal properly. The plastic used for this set isn’t as thick as the plastic on the factory lights, so I had to tape them in place to keep them from falling out while driving down the road. 2: due to the awesome black inside of the lights, they don’t reflect as much light as the factory ones. It’s not a super big deal but you should probably know that going in. I even got the brightest bulbs that AutoZone carries because I anticipated this problem, and they’re still not as bright as I thought they would be. 3: this isn’t really a complaint, but you should know that if you’re planning on putting LED turn signals in these, they’re not gonna look right. The bulb is clearly exposed and there is absolutely no reflective surface behind the bulb. So basically it’s like having a bulb completely exposed and thats what you see when the light is on. LEDs just look bad in this housing. Over all, these lights look pretty cool and I hope that the blinker lights don’t get moisture in them immediately because of the bad seal. ... show more

The only thing I don't like is the aiming mechanism. You either need a seperate tool or do it by hand with the assembly out of the vehicle. Terrible design on Ford's part. Super clear and bright illumination from the housing. Easy to setup with your new bulbs.
