I bought this product as a privacy fence for my 96 gallon recycling bin. I had so many problems with the assembly of the panels. The directions were good and everything was well labeled. However, the workmanship on the panels and the slots was awful. None of the "B" slats fit in the post slots and had to be sanded down on both sides to put in the slots. My tools of choice were a rubber hammer and sander! It took two people and some scotch tape to hold the "C" slats to assemble the first panel and then the "A" post was warped. It fell apart a couple of times before we finally forced it together. Then it is only held together with one small wood screw. The final product looks very nice and I hope it holds up as our landscapers work around it to cut the grass with mowers. I had to give it only 2 stars because of the poor workmanship making assembly so difficult.

Okay, so the assembly does not go as the instructions suggest. We ended up putting together one side, including putting the screws into the top and bottom slats. Then we laid it on its side and lined things up with one person lining up the slats and the other using a sledgehammer to get everything tight. The directions do not suggest it is that difficult. All that being said, it only took us about 10 minutes and the fence looks amazing. It is just enough to slightly hide our AC unit that can be seen from the pool.

This does exactly what it’s supposed to. It hides my AC unit and makes my yard look much better, however putting this thing together was time consuming and difficult. I think having an extra set of hands would have made it go much smoother. It’s a good product, just plan for it to take awhile to get installed.

So it is a long story why I need this for flood control, but that is why I ordered this to divert floodwater at my HVAC unit due to a new development next door diverting water onto my property in a heavy rain event. I am hoping louver fencing will function to divert the flashflood water rising on my property to divert around the HVAC unit or at least minimize the amount to stay below my raised HVAC vent. I have not had a chance to test my theory and hope I am just being paranoid that this new development will cause a higher flood level on my property causing flood water to get into my hvac unit. Star Rating System (What do my star ratings mean?): 1 STAR - Completely unusable, would request a refund 2 STAR - Meets minimum viable product requirements, wouldn't purchase it again 3 STAR - It does what it should, but in a non-spectacular way, I may recommend it, but definitely with reservations 4 STAR - I like it. It is solid quality and delivers as advertised, I would purchase it again and recommend it to a friend 5 STAR - I love it. It meets or exceeds all of my expectations and is high quality, I would purchase it again and would openly promote it to friends As an Amazon Vine Member, I give honest reviews, whether or not it is a good one or a bad one. The assembly of this fence material is absolutely horrible. I have seen several other reviewers had same issue. If you get this be sure you have a sander or some way to make each piece fit. Other than that once it's together it does look nice and hides the ugly view of my outside central unit. It seems like it will hold up for a long time atleast.

All in all very nice and would recommend. It is a little difficult to put together but not terrible. Once together it seems very sturdy and will do need it to do. Comes with a few different base options for how you would like it to be in the ground or on a platform. Seems well made and should last a long time. I would recommend.

Well, the quality of the materials is sound. The Assembly of this was a huge headache. Theres a quite a few hiccups with this. The B slats down for into the designated slots those slots are milled too narrow by about 1/8th of an inch. On top of that, the slots for the C slats are too wide, so when assembling to the next pillar, everything falls out. I get the jist of assembly but its too cumbersome for me. While my AC unit sits higher than this fence wouldve covered, I intended to use this to wall off my trash cans from view in the alley.
