This DWR "Heavyweight" Feather Down Comforter! Fluffs up really nicely in the dryer as per instructions. In the rating section above it only askes for rating for "light weight" quality-so did not enter a number! If question was to rate "heavyweight" I would have put 5! So it should say 5 stars for Heavyweight! We ordered it because it was said heavy weight in description! IT'S PERFECT! WE LOVE IT! It's Top Quality and arrived very quickly! Very well constucted with quality fabric & well sewn. Love the special corner feature for the duvet corner ties. My grand daughter loved it said it was very hugable! She immediatly read instructions & then supervised dryer during the whole 20 min fluffing time!

We love the warmth of this comforter. It’s definitely a good comforter for cold weather. It can be a bit hot in warmer times of year, but we just switch to a different blanket in the summer. The one negative of this is that feathers often come through the material onto the sheets. So just be aware of that. We like that our dogs hair doesn’t stick to it and we can keep it clean even though she lays on it every night.

I have spent probably well over 100 hours finding my new duvet insert. Previously ordered a very spendy one but then was informed it was on back order and I did not want all that research going to waste so started with my checklist all over again on Amazon. LOVE a noisy shell on a duvet. To me that means it is cool to the touch and cambric cotton. Very important to me. I made the mistake of microfiber/polyester before and was very disappointed. I bought King Size. It has tabs to secure it to a duvet cover. I wanted the lightweight, but I guess I ordered the medium weight, and it is perfect. For the last 4 nights, I am not sleeping hot (I am also a VERY HOT SLEEPER so also changed to linen sheets which have been a game changer TG!) and it is super luxurious and a bit (perfectly) crunchy. It is in my duvet cover and that takes most of the initial crunch out, but you know this is QUALITY. Excellent duvet insert for an excellent price. Make sure you put it in your dryer for 7-10 minutes after you open it. With tennis balls preferably. :)

I looked for a long time before I purchased this duvet and I am so glad I did! I sweat a lot through the night, but I also have to sleep covered up. Even if I get hot in the middle of the night I do not sweat! And I still am able to sleep underneath this duvet as it is really lightweight. It is a little noisy but I like it because it just proves how fluffy it is! It's like laying with a cloud! Seriously, if you were debating let this be your sign to get it!

Update: the seller gave us some tips on how to get rid of the smell by tumble drying for a bit which helped. It is a comfortable duvet but still quite warm, at least in our opinion. We’re going to try it for a bit longer. Maybe it’ll be nicer during the warmer months. The seller is very thoughtful and offered tips and even a refund. 5 stars for the company. —Original review below— Wish I could have given this a better review. It did have a strong and odd smell like others have mentioned. Despite getting the lightweight one, we could not believe how much heat this duvet insert trapped. We both ended up kicking this duvet off multiple times. Would not recommend! Even if you aren’t a hot sleeper, you will be with this thing.

I bought this to replace an old worn down comforter. The quality is good. I was hoping it would have some weight too it because I like a heavier comforter. This did not disappoint!
