Got these so my south facing window wouldn’t cook my plants in the morning! lol They did the trick! Not hard to see through. Not sure about from the outside in. But I wouldn’t consider these “privacy” curtains anyway. Seems to be made of good material. Just the right height for my windows. For my use I just put them on the same rod as my curtains. She loves the magical, whimsical feel they add, and I’m so impressed with how well they’ve held up. Kids can definitely be a bit rough, but these curtains have proven to be surprisingly durable—they’re still going strong and look just as lovely as the day we hung them. They’re beautifully light and sheer, just what we were looking for, but without feeling flimsy or cheap.
