I'm 5' 9" and around 250 lb. The XXL size fits PERFECTLY! The Jacket is lightweight/thinner, but I tend to overheat easily so that's a plus for me because I run very warm. Keep in mind that it may not be the best choice if it's literally freezing outside (although I'm alright for short periods in freezing weather with it, like scraping off the car and while the car is heating up). It's still great for colder days and is super comfy and it looks amazing! I ordered this as a gift for my husband. I did a lot of review reading, price comparisons and so on before deciding on this jacket. He's really happy with my decision to purchase this one! He's a size large in shirts, but he does a lot of lifting at his job, and has broad shoulders, so I bought one size up. It's a bit big around the waist, which we expected, but fits really nicely in the chest and shoulder. The quality of the jacket is quite good. It wears nicely. As others have mentioned the zipper is technically flipped for a men's garment, but that's not a big deal and doesn't detract from the surprisingly nice quality of the jacket. I would say this is a mid weight jacket. Warmer than say a wind breaker and ideal for cooler fall weather. It's definately too light for a cold winter day. It's a $40 jacket, so that's what I expected to get. I can say it at least met or even slightly exceeded that expectation. I wouldn't say the material is top shelf, but decent nonetheless. Zipper is backwards from what I'm used to. I'm 6'3", 250, so ordered 2XL. Aside from being a bit snug in armpit area, it fits really well. Ordered Army green. Color isn't exactly as it shows on website as it's got a bit of a brown tint to it. All in all however, a decent, stylish looking jacket that is worth the price tag. ... show more

It seems very nicely made but more of a windbreaker than a jacket. For cold protection it's about like a good flannel shirt but this one shed light rain. Fortunately I bought it in large so there's room for a jacket underneath. At $20 it was a great buy. The side pockets are deep enough to keep my hands warm or carry a roll of doggie bags but the upper "pocket" is just zipper with a blank behind it. The epaulets is good for looping the strap of my carry bag w/o looping it over my neck, or tucking the dog leash when doing "hands off" training. I like the design and that the outer layer is made of canvas so it should prove to be somewhat rugged. The collarless design is good for motorcycle riders that don't want to their cheeks slapped going down the road. Overall, a good jacket with the exception of the shoulder area. I wear XL normally so the ordered jacket should have fit. I would ask mens designers to have an average American Joe (if that's your intended market) model at each size, try on the clothes they are designing, and see how it feels. I’m 6’7” 320 lb and broad shouldered. My body type is more akin to a linebacker with a gut than a round dude. I normally get 3XL hoodies and jackets (that I wear over other clothes) as I really don’t like slim fit anything and I desire my belly to be covered when raising my arms. I really wanted a jacket such as this and XXL being the max kinda had me worried. I double checked with the chest measurement. I’m a 50 in and the listed chest measurement was 54 in so in theory I’d be good. Ordered, wore it, fits perfectly. Not snug or tight, relatively comfortable. Larger dudes, you’re good with this one. But always check measurements. At the very least, always know your chest size as that will help you with buying anything off the rack, or in this case online when you can’t try it on or even look at it in person. ... show more
