I’ve bought a couple of these duvets throughout the past couple years and I love them. First, a little backstory we have 3 dogs and each bed gets a dog that sleeps with their human. That leads to a lot of dog hair on a lot of beds. Also, I choose white because I want to know my family is sleeping in clean sheets and white forces you to see the hair/dirt so I’m washing them OFTEN! Now what I love about these duvet covers is they are easy to slip on and off especially with the zipper (instead of a million buttons) I don’t have to tie them for them to stay put, they are cool in the FL weather AND the dog hair comes off in the washing machine and dryer!!! I’m not sure if it is the material or the weave of this particular duvet, but the dog hair doesn’t get stuck in the fibers. Now hold on…I’m not saying ALL of the dog hair comes out….but you can see by the pic attached…. The Great majority of it does…enough that you KNOW the sheets are clean. A couple of tricks if you’ve got dogs that sleep in the bed. 1) get a rubber brush and quickly brush your duvet after you make your bed in between washings. 2) brush before you launder 3) wash 1 set of sheets/duvet at a time…..too many sheets equals not enough room in washing machine for hair removal. For whites….I recommend a speed wash in cold water to remove any oil from the puppers or you…and then a sterile cycle on hot water with some laundry detergent and Clorox…..Keeps sheets crisp and sparkling clean! I don’t recommend any type of bleach because some bleached will yellow your sheets. Lastly, this duvet cover is super soft and feels just like when you are staying at a Hilton or Marriott…soft and comfy….& GREAT price!!! ... show more

Hi potential purchaser. I rely on customer reviews so I take these seriously and add as much as I think will help you in your purchase decision. First, the size was king and the color is true light gray. I washed it right out of the packaging - gentle cycle, cold water, regular detergent, normal settings for all others (I have an agitator). Dry on low temp with no fabric softener. The result after I immediately removed from dryer: no wrinkles and very soft. Oh, and remember to keep the cover zippered during the wash and dry process. Again, color remained true. The zipper is at the foot of the duvet, they are a bit on the light side vs the custom duvet cover I recently received for $89 had heavy duty zippers that were well hidden. These are hidden as well. The ties are again a bit on the light side being short/frustratingly so but usable and not as heavy duty/much longer as the more expensive duvet. NOTE: to put insert into cover simply turn the cover inside out, spread duvet insert onto the cover, tie the ties into place, then roll the cover so it is right side out. Very easy. I have a large 60 pound dog and a small 25 pound dog, and unfortunately, both sleep in bed every night. Nails are sharp but no tears so far. Black dog hair can be swept out of cover but there is always a little remaining that takes a bit more effort to remove. I ordered a king cover and a king insert. The insert is 2" shorter on length but that was not noticeable in any way. The length is fine for a king mattress that has a cushion top and a very cushy mattress pad. I wish the width was about 6" longer though on each side. But it's not bad as you can see by the pics. There was no smell after I opened the product, no pilling or loose threads after wash. I wasn't sure if this was going to cover some of my fluffier comforters but it really does. No matter how fluffy or even my not so fluffy comforters, this duvet cover completely keeps them covered. The ties located on the inside, really do hold and keep my comforters secured. Once I zip up this duvet cover, it never comes undone, even with my cats playing with the zipper tabs, they stay closed. The fabric is really soft, include the pillow shams that comes with this duvet cover, really soft and feels really nice when I lay on them. Even when it comes to washing the duvet cover or the pillow shams, they always come out nice and soft. Rather than ending up with pet fur all over my comforters, it does get on this duvet cover. Normally I'm still picking out pet fur when I pull my blankets out of the dryer, but with this duvet cover, I'm not doing any of that. ... show more

UPDATE: I’ve had this duvet for almost three months now. I probably would not but again. It’s still soft after being washed every 2-3 weeks but there are several pulls in the material. It’s very disappointing. I wash on tap cold on “bulky” with regular detergent and dry on normal low heat. It doesn’t seem to hold up well through the process. I’ve purchased several duvet covers for our master bed in the last decade. It’s the first one I’ve purchased that covered the bed properly. I feel like most of them fall a bit short. I was uncertain how it would look without the insert, which we remove during the summer, but it lays perfectly on the bed. I washed it after it arrived and was pleasantly surprised at how wrinkle free it was. I did have concerns before putting it on the bed that it wasn’t weighted enough. It was much lighter than our previous duvet covers and felt a bit like a top sheet (soft and lightweight). However, after a couple of nights sleeping under it, it is far more breathable than our previous covers and didn’t shift easily. I’ve been surprised at how well I like it and how great it looks on the bed. I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect at this price point. I’d happily recommend this product. ... show more
