This is a perfect replacement part for the Dyson canister seal ring. The piece on my vacuum broke and the only way to replace it through Dyson was to purchase a whole new canister (which was out of stock), so I decided to try this instead which was a cheaper option anyway. It comes with the little tool to remove the screw, but it does not come with a replacement screw, so make sure you save the screw as you’re removing the piece on the Dyson. The seal seems good quality and it fits perfectly, and my vacuum is back up and running! The only thing is the seal is a different color than the original Dyson part, but obviously that doesn’t affect its functionality. It works better than new. I love this vacumn with so many attachments, so I spent much time trying to figure out how to fix it. The dust bin wouldn't stay shut, and the red seal wouldn't stay on. I cleaned it thoroughly, so was very confused. This fixed it. Came in a hurry, and it was really easy to put on. I'm elated. Saved me $700-$800! Thanks to this part, I saved myself a trip to the Dyson dealer and saved so much money! Works perfectly and is longer lasting than the OM part, so I’d recommend this HIGHLY if you have a V10 and the OM part just snaps and can’t be reattached no matter what. SAVE. YOUR. MONEY. There’s a small gap between the body and the ring but it seems to hold enough seal, so it’s ugly but it works.
