  • A near-perfect solution
Style: Wall/Under Cabinet Mount
I was initially hesitant to purchase the Wall/Cabinet Mount due to the price versus other, similar products. After testing several alternatives I bit the bullet and purchased. This is a nearly perfect solution for mounting a tablet device under a cabinet for kitchen use. Unlike similar products, the Durable is an absolute unit and the only one actually strong enough to hold a tablet without sagging in the closed/folded position. My only gripe is that the arm stops at 90 degrees when open. If is swung out an additional 45 degrees it would be absolutely perfect for the kitchen - the current angle requires bending down a bit to use the screen. Hopefully future models will address. Overall - this is without a doubt the one you want! ... show more

  • Not for under cabinets
Style: Wall/Under Cabinet Mount
I purchased the “wall/cabinet mount” version and it’s soooo close to being the right thing. However the fact that the arm only travels 90° is a deal breaker. Neither of the two options for mounting in the kitchen really work. 1. You could mount it to the vertical wall, but then it’s awkwardly far to reach and hard to read. I don’t even have deep counters. 2. You could mount it to the under side of the cabinet, but because the arm only swings 90° you can’t bring it up to a comfortable viewing angle. 90° would be fine if you had it at eye-level, but the fact that it’s on a cabinet means it’ll be chest level. Honestly I’m sure their other models work great, but for use in the kitchen they needed to do just a bit more R&D. Make it swing 180° and I’d keep it ... show more

  • No vertical adjustment
Style: Extending Wall Arm
People have different heights so it stands to reason youy'd want to adjust the tablet positioning so that whoever cooks in the kitchen does it comfortably. And yet... The side arm only works on one plane. Setting it vertically (arm moves up and down) was my work-around, but the arm joint is not strong enough to hold the tablet. My tablet is an early version, used only to read recipes, so it might do better with an iPad Air. ... show more

  • Great mount
Style: Wall/Under Cabinet Mount
Really sturdy mount. Careful not to lock it. Comes with key so save it. Only accommodates tablets with no case. Jaws are not large enough but work. I added a strong magnet to the back to make double sure tablet doesn't come loose in rough ocean water in our boat.

  • Well built
Style: Wall Mount
I purchased the tablet holder for my new kitchen. LOVE IT! Well built, easy to install and it is holding up well with several of us all popping our tablets/phones in and out of the mount (including the kido's). I love that it rotates with ease. My husband now ordered one for the garage.

  • Pricey but an attractive design
Style: Wall Mount
I thought it would be a bigger box for some reason but the box is pretty small exactly the size of the mount. The mount is pretty much all made of plastic except the aluminum shell around the back side added for looks which makes it look like a solid piece of aluminum. I imagine they could of made the the entire piece at the back out of aluminum for simplicity sake but it probably involved additional cost to manufacture. A word of warning, this mount is not universal. It seems like it was designed for a tablet that very thin that has a certain tapered profile. I imagine an ipad or other thin tablet. I do not believe this mount will hold for example an ipad pro due to the ipad pro having a non tapered design. This mount seems to be made for a tablet that has a tapered shape at its rear. I am using it with a very thin windows tablet that is about a quarter of an inch thick and the mount barely reaches over the display. The mount is rather sturdy for being made out of plastic. And it doesn’t look like cheap plastic at all. They are using some heavy duty grey plastic. The mount has a slot at the bottom where you can insert the provided allen wrench to keep the wings from being opened. They also provide an plastic adhesive coated piece that is used to hold your tablet in place. It’s supposed to prevent theft by keep your tablet from being slid off the mount. I really don’t like have to put adhesive at the back of my tablet. I think it’s the sort of thing that would cause some kind of damage. But the adhesive would be used in case you needed to prevent theft. If you don’t need to worry about that you can just use the locking mechanism to keep the wings from accidentally opening. If fact you should use the locking mechanism to prevent your tablet from falling off the mount accidentally. The wings provide enough tension on the tablet but for safety it should be locked unless you need to dismount your tablet frequently. In closing I think this mount is the best I have seen. Seems very well made and very sturdy. However I think the price is too high. It’s made out of plastic after all and it doesn’t seem like is has a value beyond $45. I do note this product is not made in China but in Germany so it being made there and the fact that it’s a very good design is reflected in the price. ... show more

  • Great quality but wish it tilted forward
Style: Wall/Under Cabinet Mount
This tablet holder is a great quality and the only one I could find that could mount under my kitchen cabinet with the lighting fixture and outlet system under there. The mount holds the tablet straight up and down and you cannot tilt it back at the top to read the tablet (as you would a book) so it makes reading it a little challenging. If you are a tall person you may have to lean down to read the tablet. Other than this, it’s a perfect holder. ... show more

  • More expensive than I liked and doesn’t fit tablet with case
Style: Wall Mount
I had one snafu where it shut on my finger, and that hurt really bad, but I didn’t take a star off bc I might not have been paying attention when it happened and that was my fault, but do be warned it snaps back fast and really really hurts. I ended up returning it because it didn’t fit my tablet while it was in its case, but otherwise I really liked it. I thought it was a bit expensive at ~$50, but it felt well made. If it would have also preferred it to be vesa compatible if it did fit my case. ... show more
