Tyvek 400 provides an ideal balance of protection, durability and comfort of any limited use fabric technology. Tyvek 400 fabric offers an inherent barrier against particles (down to 1.0 micron in size). Protection is built into the fabric itself; there are no films or laminates to abrade or wear away. Tyvek 400 fabric's durability advantage over microporous film fabrics delivers consistently better barrier, even after wear and abrasion. Applications include: lead and asbestos abatement/remediation, general maintenance/operations, spray painting, general clean-up. Deer and dog ticks are a big problem where our property is. These worked very well when I was working to clear the overgrown meadow left by the former owners. The elastic cuffs are one reason I picked them, and I wore knee length rubber boots which the ankle cuffs fit well. Also, being white it is easy to see the ticks. I sprayed permethrin on the boots as further precaution. During the initial brush cutting with a walk behind machine, including green briers and blackberries, the first suit I used held up pretty well with a few small holes and I reused it once or twice after taping the holes. I also used the suits after cutting down the meadow. This was to deal further with the invasive plants and I had to get down on the ground at times. The suit was hot on one sunny day in the low sixties so you need to take breaks and hydrate and be mindful of heat exhaustion. I have not used the suits under warmer conditions than those, mostly the temperatures were in the high 40s and 50s which were fine. I did not see ticks on the suits at any time, it may be they do not like the material. ... show more

These are great suits! I ordered this for painting the house. It works great for this purpose. I really like the hood for painting the ceilings, it keeps the paint out of my hair. These are also great for getting in to your crawl space and keep the spiders off you. It can also make a pretty good cow costume for Halloween. I highly recommend the Tyvek suit for multiple uses ... show more

I bought this for my gf so she could give her dad a long awaited hug due to COVID for father's day. She is 100lbs and about 5'4" so the medium was a little baggy since she usually wears small clothes but it was all I could find. I am not a medical expert in any way but I did research recommended PPE for hospital workers and this was the product used by those professionals. Mask, face shield, and gloves are recommended as well. The price is good even if it's disposable but most importantly she felt safe wearing it and giving him a hug which was the main reason behind the purchase. ... show more

I am only 5 ft 10 in and the “Large” size is supposed to fit up to 6 ft tall. No way! I could not tie my shoes without the lega sliding up to mid-calf. Buy at least one size larger than usual. Also, at this price, these should have booties.

I purchased a pack of 2 of these for a young man we hired to remove all the insullation and completely vaccum our attic in preparation for blown in insullation. He loved them! He said they were very comfortable, extremely durable and fit well. He wore a large and was about 5'8", slim built, about 170 pounds. It took him two days to complete and he used one each day. I’m a small girl - 5’3 about 120lbs and I buy the medium to fit over my clothes and it fits baggy but I prefer it. I hand wash this material and I’ve been wearing it over and over again pretty often - so the product can last if u want it to. It’s also lightweight so I don’t get hot
