DuPont's Tyvek 400 garments are composed of flash spun high density polyethylene which creates a unique, nonwoven material available only from DuPont. This provides an ideal balance of protection, durability and comfort of any limited use fabric technology. Tyvek 400 fabric offers an inherent barrier against particles (down to 1.0 micron in size). Tyvek 400 fabric's durability advantage over microporous film fabrics delivers consistently better barrier, even after wear and abrasion. DuPont's comfort-fit design gives wearers what they want - a greater range of movement, improved mobility, a more tailored fit, and better overall comfort. Available sizes: SM/MD, LG, XL, 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, 6X, 7X. Enables a greater range of movement while stretching and bending, provides a more tailored fit, offers reinforcement in high stress areas for fewer blowouts, utilizes a longer zipper for easier donning and doffing and an elastic waist. Attached respirator-fit hood with elastic around face opening, covers neck and chin and fits around respirator face mask. Elastic opening for tighter fit at wrist and ankle. Longer zipper extends to chin for complete coverage of neck area. Tyvek protective apparel helps protect workers against small size hazardous particles, including lead, asbestos, and mold. Protection is built into the fabric itself; there are no films or laminates to abrade or wear away.

    • More than just a protective suit
These are great suits! I ordered this for painting the house. It works great for this purpose. I really like the hood for painting the ceilings, it keeps the paint out of my hair. These are also great for getting in to your crawl space and keep the spiders off you. It can also make a pretty good cow costume for Halloween. I highly recommend the Tyvek suit for multiple uses ... show more

I am fostering a large group of kittens for the local shelter who came down with ringworm. The shelter was going to euthanize because of how contagious it is but I was happy to step up. I purchased this suit to protect myself and my animals while in the ISO room. First time wearing it I thought, this thing's pretty cool. But the first cage on the floor that I've been down to, my butt ripped out. I thought I had the right size because it fits really well. But I guess I need a bigger size because I guess I just have a fat butt 🤣. It is very sturdy and I did spray it down with sanitizer and I did not feel the wetness go to my skin. I bought a medium size one to make a NASA space suit Halloween costume for my 10 year old son. It works so well! My son put on a backpack, a snowboard helmet, a snowboard goggles and then put this thing on, covering the backpack and helmet. He can't believe how good it looks like. I purchased a pack of 2 of these for a young man we hired to remove all the insullation and completely vaccum our attic in preparation for blown in insullation. He loved them! He said they were very comfortable, extremely durable and fit well. He wore a large and was about 5'8", slim built, about 170 pounds. It took him two days to complete and he used one each day. I wore this on a 10 hour flight and found it extremely comfortable. I got a size small at 5’9 and 135 pounds. I liked the fit, durability and added benefit was I was not cold as I am usually are.

    • Great for COVID hugs
I bought this for my gf so she could give her dad a long awaited hug due to COVID for father's day. She is 100lbs and about 5'4" so the medium was a little baggy since she usually wears small clothes but it was all I could find. I am not a medical expert in any way but I did research recommended PPE for hospital workers and this was the product used by those professionals. Mask, face shield, and gloves are recommended as well.     • Get a size bigger than whats on chart.
Giving it a solid 3. Suit works well. I followed the size chart to a tee but still came up short. Ordered a medium based on measurements from chart but it was a bit small. Needed a large.
