Dupla Apex has a really smooth and masculine scent profile that definitely gives off that fresh pineapple and smoky woods vibe people love in Aventus-style fragrances. The opening is bright and fruity, while the dry down becomes deeper and more woody without being overpowering. I’ve gotten several compliments wearing it to work and on nights out. Performance is solid for. On my skin I got around 6–8 hours with noticeable projection during the first couple of hours. The bottle looks clean and premium, and the sprayer distributes nicely. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the opening can feel a little sharp for the first few minutes, and longevity could be slightly stronger. Still, this is an excellent cologne.

This does have a pineapple opening, but to say that it's it's inspired by Creed event is one must limit their expectations exponentially. It does smell nice in a very subtle way. I will not be repurchasing this cologne because Club De Nuit is the best Creed Aventus clone on the market.

The Dupla Apex Extrait sets expectations high with its claimed pineapple and smoky woods profile, clearly aiming at the DNA of Creed Aventus, which is extremely masculine fragrance, but this one is none of that and it misses the mark by a wide margin. Instead of that bold, fruity-smoky balance, what comes through is an extremely faint, almost “clean soap” type scent that barely registers unless you’re actively searching for it on skin. Projection is virtually nonexistent, and longevity follows the same pattern. Even with heavy spraying, the fragrance never develops or opens up, it just sits close to the skin as a vague, diluted presence. It doesn’t come off harsh or overly synthetic; if anything, the bigger issue is that it barely smells like anything at all. Presentation also reflects the experience: a lightweight 3.4oz size thin plastic bottle, basic atomizer, and an overall feel that suggests cost cutting across the board with this fragrance. For something labeled an extrait, the performance is especially underwhelming. Bottom line: if you’re after an Aventus-style fragrance, this isn’t a budget win, it’s a big miss. There are far more convincing and longer lasting alternatives at similar price points that will bring a lot more value. This one comes off more like lightly scented water than a true cologne, and it’s hard to recommend under any circumstance.

I like the scent of this cologne it has a nice pineapple and smoky wood profile that’s pleasant and easy to wear. That said, it leans more toward body spray vibes than a rich, high-end cologne. It doesn’t have that deep, complex projection you’d expect from premium fragrances, but for the price, that’s totally fair. Where it really shines is in everyday use. I keep it in my car or use it after the gym when I just want to freshen up quickly without using my more expensive colognes. It’s convenient, smells good, and gets the job done without overthinking it. Overall, a solid pickup if you’re looking for an affordable, casual scent to use daily or on the go.

I’ve tried several of these inspired by scents in a plastic bottle and I’m slightly disappointed by this. I have some really great scents from these type of bottles and this smells good very close to it’s inspiration but it’s just.. the performance. I got about 2-3 hours on my skin which is pretty weak ita not awful for this price you can go nuts and reapply as often as you want but as I said I’ve gotten some really great scents from these plastic bottles. Now this doesn’t mean it a bad product, scent is subjective and different people have different chemistries so maybe this would be great for you it just wasn’t for me specifically. The bottle is made well with minimal branding providing a clean look and as shown in my video the atomizer isn’t great but 2 out of three times it works great! I do think it’s a good value and can see this being a great stocking stuffer for any little fraghead Jr would love or as a small gift, but I wouldn’t wear it often otherwise. Four stars just wasn’t for me.

I picked this up for my husband because he needed a new cologne, and his standards are pretty reasonable. Just don’t be overpowering, and don’t smell like something you’d use to clean the floors. Seemed like a low bar. When it arrived, the first thing I noticed was the bottle. It’s a lightweight plastic spray, which already set the tone a bit, but I figured I’d give it a fair shot anyway. I sprayed it once to test. Then again. And then a couple more times, mostly because I was trying to figure out what I was actually smelling. It didn’t come across like a typical cologne at all. The closest comparison I could land on was something along the lines of a car air freshener that’s trying very hard to convince you it’s upscale. Not terrible in a “make you run for fresh air” way, but definitely not what I was expecting as a body scent. I handed it over to my husband without saying anything because I didn’t want to influence his opinion. He sprayed it as he normally does with cologne, paused for about two seconds, and then handed it right back with a firm “no” head shake. Followed immediately by a shower. That pretty much settled it. At this point, I’m not even sure it’s getting promoted to car duty, which is saying something. In my opinion, this "cologne" is really not worth the time, effort or cost.
